Our home

Our home is located in a beautiful, peaceful estate surrounded by a natural conservation reserve — with walking trails, native birds, and the occasional visit from a rare albino kangaroo!

It’s a bright, comfortable home filled with good energy and modern comforts. You’ll have full access to:

- A well-equipped kitchen with everything you need for home-cooked meals.

It’s a bright, comfortable home filled with good energy and modern comforts. You’ll have full access to:

- A spacious living room with cosy seating and streaming access.

- A well-equipped kitchen with everything you need for home-cooked meals.

- A quiet home office space with high speed internet — perfect if you work remotely or need a peaceful spot to read or write.

- A guest room with a very comfortable double bed that can easily be converted into a sofa during the day. You’ll have fresh linens, comfy pillows, a spacious wardrobe, a study desk with an external monitor, and a bookshelf filled with a large collection of books.

If you enjoy a little quiet time, there are also yoga mats and a peaceful corner for meditation—perfect for starting the day slowly or winding down in the evening.

- A clean bathroom and separate toilet for your private use.

- A laundry room with washer and dryer.

- A sunlit sunroom overlooking the garden — a favourite spot for tea, books, and lazy afternoons.

- Plus, alfresco area opening to the backyard where Onyx loves to play.

You’ll enjoy the best of both worlds here — a calm, nature-filled environment just a short walk from Woolworths, restaurants, and public transport, with a direct train to Melbourne CBD for easy trips into the city.

You’ll be in company of Onyx, our 2-year-old Golden Retriever — a gentle soul with a big heart. He’s very affectionate and loves having company around.

Onyx needs 2 feeds (morning and evening), playtime in the backyard, occasional walks, and plenty of quiet time indoors with his favourite toys. He’s house-trained, easy to care for, and happiest when someone’s nearby to share his calm, happy energy.

Onyx is our second dog; our beloved Oscar passed away earlier this year, and we still feel his gentle energy around the house. Caring for Onyx feels like carrying that love forward, which is why finding someone kind and trustworthy to look after him — and our home — means so much to us.

Our garden

Minimal - We have a small garden with flowering plants and a few potted herbs that need regular watering.

It’s easy to maintain — just a light watering every couple of days, depending on the weather. No heavy gardening or mowing required, just helping the plants stay happy and healthy while we’re away.

We’re a family of four — my wife, our two kids, and Onyx, our gentle Golden Retriever. Our home is filled with warmth, laughter, and the joyful chaos that comes with family life (and dog toys!).

Onyx has such a delightful temperament. He was a docile, warm companion, & at the same time a powerful Retriever. He ... Being still young and not yet used to strangers, Onyx seemed a bit scared at the beginning and took some time to get used to us. Param gave us great tipps during this time and towards the end of our sit we noticed Onyx becoming calm and comfortable around us. We would have loved to get to ...
