Hello 👋 My name is Lauren and I am 36yo. I am in the Army and have served for 14 years. I am looking for someone to house and dog sit for 3 weeks during September as I am going away for work. Grace is a Belgian Shepherd, 10 years old. Very friendly, ball obsessed, clam and water crazy. She is a very happy dog loves to go on walks or play in the park.

She is an inside dog especially during summer. Night time she is 100% inside as she gets very nervous being left out in the dark overnight. I have a low maintenance yard, requiring a mow once a week.
Im looking for a lovely couple or single person that would be willing to become best friends with Grace and watch my house.
I am needing a house sitter who works normal 9-5 type days, no shift work as she has a specific schedule, walks everyday and strict adherance to her medication timings.
My house has solar and a double lock up garage. AC throughout and cameras around the back yard.
Ideally looking for a couple without young children or a single person but always happy to consider a family if it's the right fit.

favoriteWhat we love about our area

The area is very safe as i am in the back corner of a cul-de-sac. All neighbours within my little street know each other and often have dinners/drinks in the park in our street. Everyone looks out for everyone. Shops, pubs and golf course are within a 5km radius and located directly on the ring road

Grace is a 10yo Belgian Shepherd. She is around 47kg and has epilepsy. She is on medication (tablet) morning and night. She loves to laze around inside, play with her ball, rope and go on walks. She is house trained and very obedient on the lead. During summer, she loves to play with anything water related.

1 tablet morning and night and 7am and 7pm.

Average - Average sized yard that will require a mow once a week. Irrigation for watering is organised 3x per week. Inside plants would need a drink once a week.

Lauren was extremely personable, positive and accommodating to our requests & queries. Her home is very comfortable & had everything needed for daily living. It is located in a friendly neighbourhood where we felt very safe & at home. The yard was simple to manage. The icing on the cake was her her big, gentle pet dog ❤ who was obedient, liked a good play with a ball or rope, a pleasure to walk (& run), and easy to manage. We would gladly sit for Lauren again if the opportunity arose.
