3 bedroom house, situated on Esplanade near local shops and walking tracks. 10 minutes by car into the city of Hobart.
Pet care is for a four
year old Jack Russell who needs walking every day and a reasonable amount of company.
No garden care required

We had the pleasure to housesit for Libby and Rod for3 weeks. We absolutely loved our time here. Russ the Jack Russell is a spirited lovable little fellow who loves his daily walks and interacting with us. The house is in a great location right on the water. It was fun seeing what colour the lights on the bridge would be each night as well as watching the bike riders, joggers and families who use the walking path as they go about there day. It was fun seeing what colour the lights on the bridge would be each night as well as watching the bike riders, joggers and families who use the walking path as they go about there day. The house is central to major shops and shopping centre only 5 minutes away. Hobart is only 10 minutes away and catching the ferry from Bellrieve is an easy way to check out Salamanca markets etc. We have loved riding our bikes daily and the paths are so easy and enjoyable. We found Libby and Rod to be very accomodating and east to deal with. …..10/10

I cannot speak highly enough of this house/dog sit. Libby and Rod are some of the most welcoming and kind people you could meet, they were fantastic communicators and would always get back promptly if I had any questions along the way. Their little Jack Russell: Russ is a real character, equal parts loving and boisturous who loved cuddles in the morning and playing in the afternoons, as well as his walks, where he got to sniff and explore the beautiful surrounding. Unfortunately I didn't end up housesitting for Libby & Rod as Rod suffered an injury prior to their holiday and was unable to go. Communication was great and I'd definitely consider housesitting for them in the future. Here's hoping Rod has 100% recovery.
