Our home

We have a very comfortable 3 bedroom home with a well kept garden. Airconditioned, Large TV with Netflix and Britbox. The guest bedroom has a Queen Size bed with an adjacent bathroom, and a wall Smart TV if required.

The house is on the corner of 2 no thru roads so very quiet. Lovely neighbours. Adjacent to a park. Nearby Blackwood has 3 supermarkets, (Coles, Woollies and Foodland), many doctors, chemists and Library all within 2 kms from our property (Plus there are a few Op Shops in ... The house is on the corner of 2 no thru roads so very quiet. Lovely neighbours. Adjacent to a park. Nearby Blackwood has 3 supermarkets, (Coles, Woollies and Foodland), many doctors, chemists and Library all within 2 kms from our property (Plus there are a few Op Shops in Blackwood). Also there is a bus within 200 metres that goes to Blackwood , Aberfoyle Park , the city and Glenelg. Plus two train stations (with 20 minutes trip to Adelaide) within 3 kms.

Leafy Hills environment with beautiful homes.

We are looking for a non-smoking, RETIRED COUPLE to look after our little dogs.
Our two little dogs are 11 years old as I write (2026). They are two little Maltese Shitzus, " Mitch and Molly" They live (and sleep) inside the house with a doggy door to the garden which they use. They usually get fed morning ( about 8 ish)..and late afternoon around between 3.00 and 3.30pm). We will have their food prepared for the ease of sitters. We are a retired couple and thus dote on them. They do not require any medicines as they keep very healthy. We walk them daily each morning, usually just around the block ie for about 20 minutes.

favoriteWhat we love about our area

Adelaide Hills healthy country environment. However buses to the City are within walking distance and train station to the City about 3 kms away. Doctors approx 2 kms away and many Supermarkets (ie Coles, WW etc) and also in this vicinity, Stunning Library, many Coffee shops etc.

Our pets

Two little 11 year old Maltese dogs who enjoy their morning walk. Fed twice a day around 8am AND 3.00 to 3.30 pm. Will have their food pre-prepared. They sleep inside at night in their own separate beds: (not the Sitters bedroom). They love to watch TV at night with us.

Julie and Ian were friendly and welcoming. A very comfortable home in a nice area. The two dogs were delightful to look after. Julie provided clear instructions which made their care simple. Lovely natured dogs, lots of kisses and cuddles in the morning.
We feel so lucky house sitting for Julie and Ian. They are a wonderful couple which we felt so much at ease and friendly straight after meeting them and the generosity of their welcome. Communication was excellent at all times. Mitch and Molly were so easy to take care and enjoyed all the time we spent with them.
Mitch & Molly had great personalities & were easy to care for. They enjoyed their walks & Julie was really organised leaving details of their favourite routes. Julie & Ian were easy to communicate with & we enjoyed meeting them before the sit. Lovely home in a great location.
