We live in a newly renovated 2 bedroom unit in North Mackay. It's a quiet location with close access to the Gooseponds walking path. There is wifi, air conditioning, a projector for streaming netflix or youtube and a home office setup available.

Maya is a 3-year-old Basenji (an ancient African breed often known as the "barkless dog") who is affectionate, relaxed and easy-going. She spends most of her day sleeping or sunbaking on the balcony and loves a cuddle on the couch or bed. At around 10 kg, she's small, doesn't bark and sheds very little.

I work from home, so Maya is used to having someone around for most of the day. While she is independent and generally happy to do her own thing, she prefers having company nearby. Someone who works from home or is available to spend a good amount of time at home would be ideal.

Maya is accustomed to two walks a day (morning and evening) or an evening run at the beach. She is well-behaved, low maintenance and enjoys a calm environment.
