Our home

Very new 3 bedroom home with all the mod cons. All on the one level with under cover access from the carport.

favoriteWhat we love about our area

One of the most beautiful hinterland localities between Sydney and Brisbane. There are beaches 30 minutes away, large centres including Port Macquarie, Taree and Forster all within an hour's drive.
We have many wonderful friends as neighbours or living close by who will help out if necessary.

The 3 dogs fed, brushed every few days, walked daily if possible.
The two horses fed, probably not rugged by September.
The cattle just need checking to see they are all standing and have water.

Dallas and I are technically retired. We have been in Lorne for 5 years and love it. We spend time at home and enjoy our family and friends visiting, or vice versa.

Important info

We prefer a couple without children as it is easier to manage the dogs (they have been known to escape if a door or gate has been left open for a milli-second). We also find couples are more likely to enjoy just being on the farm, rather than wanting to be heading off somewhere all the time.

We loved the housesit for Andrew and Dallas. They were extremely easy to deal with and communication was excellent. Their three dogs were lovely and easy to care for, as were the ponies due to the great preparation of their feeds by Dallas and Andrew. Finally, the pizza oven cooked the best pizzas in the district thanks to the lovely dough that Dallas prepared and left for our arrival. We look forward to sitting again for you when needed.
