Our home

We have a lovely house set in a peaceful 1000sqm block in leafy Helensvale. We back on to a reserve, so lots of trees, birds and nature. It is delightful. Large driveway with parking and secure automatic gate. 3 beds, and two bathrooms. Lovely fully equipped kitchen/diner and separate comfy lounge and tv. Stella the cattle dog sleeps in the laundry each night where she feels safe and secure. Super pool. The shops are a 5 minute driveaway and we have multiple eateries within the same ... favoriteWhat we love about our area

We love the peacefulness, the garden and the birds, and also the seclusion. Once we shut the gate we are in another world. Helensvale has lots of bigger blocks, so the area feels lovely and leafy. The beach at Paradise Point is 15 minutes drive away. The perfect position.

Our pets

Super friendly 20kgs female cattle dog; she is gorgeous! Just needs a walk once or twice a day for half an hour. She sleeps in the laundry where she feels safe and secure. Ideally she won't be left alone for long periods of time, as i am home with her most of each day. She has had an injury in the past so is no longer allowed to chase balls.

Our garden

Average - We will mow the lawn before we go if only away for a week or so, so it won't need cutting, longer stays may need a cut depending on the season. Pot plants will need watering if a dry spell, and maybe veggie patch if there is anything in there. It really depends on the weather.

About us

person Nicky

We are a tidy couple based on the northern Gold Coast in what feels like a country location, but is in the suburbs. Stella the cattle dog will keep you company. Super garden and pool.

This housesit was one of those sits you have no trouble in recommending to any future sitter. Nicky and Ron were the perfect hosts. Our first encounter with them was just great. They were so hospitable making us feel at ease the moment we sat down.. Nicky had everything ready for us when we arrived to actually do the job. Thank you Nicky & Ron It was another fantastic sit with Stella your beautiful fur baby at your home. This is a fabulous position close to shops, cafes, shopping centres and the Pacific Motorway. This home is beautifully set up and very comfortable and the sparkling pool is an added bonus. Stella is very well behaved and a delight to care for. I would highly recommend this sit.
