Our home

We are looking for a reliable person/couple to care for our house and garden and look after our two beautiful pets. Ideally this person/couple would be of mature age and would be at home for most of the time.
Our two storey house is light and bright with an attractive garden. There are three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms and a large kitchen and family room. It is conveniently situated close to the beach and both the Sandringham and Hampton railway stations and shopping strips.

Our two storey house is light and bright with an attractive garden. There are three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms and a large kitchen and family room. It is conveniently situated close to the beach and both the Sandringham and Hampton railway stations and shopping strips.
We have two pets, a grey and tortoiseshell cat, named Pepper, and a miniature poodle, named Lily. They are both about 7 years old and were both rescue animals and are a little bit anxious and nervous when meeting new people, but once they get to know you are really quite playful and affectionate. We are looking for someone who will feed the animals and take Lily out for a walk each morning and afternoon, play games with her and just generally care for them both.
We would also want our house-sitter to ensure that the garden was kept watered, particularly the many plants in pots and tubs.

One very affectionate, but anxious poodle, and one shy, but loving tortoiseshell cat
Lily, the poodle needs to be walked at least twice a day and ideally would like someone who will be at home most of the time.
Pepper, the cat, prefers someone who will be patient and wait for her to come out and make friends. Once she has gained confidence she loves to sit and watch what is going on in the house and have someone stroke her and rub behind her ears. She also enjoys playing chasey games, but she is wary of Lily. Lily lives downstairs in the family area, but Pepper lives upstairs and in the front lounge room

We had such a fantastic time during this sit. Cathy and Malcolm were so lovely to deal with, and made us feel right at home from the very start. The place and location are perfect, and we loved taking Lily to the beach whenever we could. Speaking of Lily, she's a cheeky angel and lit up our days, and Pepper is a beautiful soul but a bit less extroverted! Would do this sit again in a heartbeat.
We totally fell in love with Lily. She is SUCH a good girl, so well behaved and loving and such a joy to look after. We were very happy in Cathy's lovely home and really enjoyed being close to the beach! 😄 Pepper the little kitty was an absolute delight once she was brave enough to come and meet us. Thanks so much for making us feel so welcome we had a wonderful time and hope to stay in touch ☺️
Had a lovely stay in Sandrigham! The house was spacious and very cosy, with all the amenities you need. I loved hanging out with Lily and Pepper. While Pepper takes a while to warm up to you she becomes very sweet and cuddly after a while. Lily is such a sweet dog that is very easy to bond with and look after. She definitely loves someone that's around most of the time. Easy access to public transport, town and the beach. Would highly recommend!
Lily and Pepper were a delight to spend time with. Pepper is very sweet and easy going and Lily gave me unlimited unconditional love and got me into a much needed walking routine! Cathy was a great communicator responding promptly to any questions I had. I look forward to the next house sit for Cathy and Malcolm and am excited to see Lily and Pepper again.
