Our home

Our home is a cosy two bedroom, one bathroom on a busy street. We have a fully enclosed backyard which the dogs have full access to throughout the day. Our master bedroom will remain closed and you will have a queen mattress in our second bedroom. Although unconventional, we have both of our mattresses on the floor. If this will be a deal breaker, we are happy to communicate and purchase a bed frame for the duration of the stay.

You will have access to our smart TV which has Netflix, Paramount Plus and Binge. We also have a number of board games and craft supplies that you are welcome to use.
Our dogs are quite independent and are used to us coming and going. My partner works split shifts 3 days a week, and I am away 7am-5pm 3 days a week. Weekends we are in and out as well. Our main requirement is that the dogs have at least one 30-minute walk per day. Other than that, cuddles before bed or when you're watching TV are a nice bonus.
We are happy to provide access to one of our cars for convenience. With the only request that the fuel is topped up to the level it was when we left.

favoriteWhat we love about our area

We have friendly, helpful neighbours. A large oval down the street. An beautiful, enclosed park where the dogs can run off lead. A small supermarket 800m down the street, and a cafe not much further. Woolies/Coles within 3km of the house. Close to the city and no more than 20min to Trigg/Scarborough

Our pets

Dogs (2)

We have two lovely large breed dogs who would love to have company while we are away for Christmas.
Kupid is 4 years old and very energetic. She adores pats and cuddles, making you wish you had more hands to meet her demands. She is sweet and gentle with our toddler and plays well with Kazuya.
Kazuya is 12 and is starting to behave like a senior citizen. He sleeps most of the day and has slowed down on walks. He plays well with Kupid and sometimes gets bursts of energy when they are wrestling for sticks at the park. He is also a big sooky cuddle machine and loves curling up on the couch.

medicationMedication/treatment required

Daily medication for both dogs. One tablet each in the mornings with peanut butter. If there are thunderstorms or fireworks planned, Kazuya will need an extra tablet in the evening. We will look at the fireworks schedule closer to the date to confirm if this will be needed.

Minimal - We have retic out the front that can be used twice a week. There are some indoor plants that will need watering once a week. The garden out the back will need watering once or twice a week with the hose.
