Hello,

I'm Rhys, 33 y.o with a female swiss shepherd - Luna, she is 5 years old.

My house is in a good location only 5 mins walk from cafe's, groceries, take aways, train station (only a few stops to city), and Newport Lakes where there is a fenced in, off leash dog park.

Ideally I am looking for someone who is remote working and/or enjoys hanging around the house or going on adventures with Luna so that she isn't left alone for long periods of time (4+ hours) on a daily basis. ... Read moreHello,

Luna is well behaved and trained, she is responsive to a few commands (sit, wait, off, shake, lie down) etc, doesn't bark - and ultimately just likes lazing around with people near her. She is great off leash and ideally she would be taken daily to a local park for some off-leash exercise.

Luna is a very well trained, intelligent and friendly dog who's easy to look after. Everything that is required is well communicated in advance. I had a very relaxing housesit, thanks.
Luna 🌙, God I already miss her, if you get to meet her and look after her consider yourself blessed, cute, loyal, very clever… so clever, beautiful I dont how many times she got compliments on her beauty. But I got to know that beauty inside out. I told Rhys “If I were a bad person, I would have taken her with me 😅”. The cutest dog. We had a great sit with Luna, she was such a sweetie!! Loves to be around you and get belly rubs. Every day got super excited for every walk you take her and listens very well. Communication with Rhys was super easy and if you needed anything he was there for you. Yes the house is a little bit older but has everything you need! We already miss Luna…

This was our third time petsitting for Rhys, and yet again we had an amazing time with Luna and are already missing her dearly! She’s a truly special soul with so much personality and spending time with her is such a gift. Rhys was an amazing host, we always feel really welcome and comfortable in his home and communicating with him is always super easy! Would very happily come back anytime! 😊

We loved every minute we spent with Luna, she is such a gorgeous girl with so much personality and love to give. More than perfect in every way! Rhys was a great host, always kept in contact with us and we felt super comfortable in his home.

Rhys was very easy to comunicate with. He had a relaxed and generous attitude. Luna the dog is a happy and obedient animal and a real joy to be around.

It was a pleasant experience staying with Luna the past few days! From the moment I arrived, Luna was super welcoming and friendly, with plenty of tail wags and happy energy. 🐶 Luna is such a joy to be around – well-behaved, affectionate, and knows a lot of tricks. Rhys shared detailed information about Luna. It’s always a smooth chatting with him. 😊
Communication with Rhys was straightforward. The neighbourhood is nice and the house has everything you need. Luna is an absolute legend. Great dog to hang with.
I stayed with Luna twice in January. She is a very intelligent and an adorable dog. I loved going with her 2h daily to the big park just a few hundred meters from the house. She is extremely good off leash and behaves so well! Rhys is easygoing and super friendly. he is also always available. I really enjoyed my time and hope to see Luna soon again.
Rhys did a great job communicating with us before and also during the sit. His house was comfortable and his dog Luna was lovely. She was such a gentle sweetheart and loved our company just as much as we loved hers. We’d be happy to house sit for Rhys again.

I had a really great time at Rhys’s out in Newport nesting in the cottage, studying & being with Luna! Luna is an absolute gem of a dog & wouldn’t hesitate to come & spend time with her again going on adventures around the local parks, near the lake & to the surrounding beaches. Sitting for Rhys was an absolute pleasure. Luna is a well trained, well behaved pup with a huge personality who kept us laughing the whole stay. Rhys is a great communicator who left clear instructions. The house has everything we needed and was very clean and tidy. We would jump at the opportunity to look after Luna again!
Rhys was very easy and prompt to communicate with. He made sure the house was ready for my arrival. Luna is an incredible dog, she loves your company and is always ready for a rub. She's bright and playful with her toys and other dogs, the dog park was a wonderful place to have her off leash. It was a comfortable and no fuss stay at Rhys'.
We took care of Luna for 1 week in April and it has been such a good time for us ! Rhys is really communicative, he will respond very quickly if you need anything, we were glad to meet him. Luna is an amazing dog we had such a great time together and we enjoyed a lot the park near by and the beach 40 min by walk. The communication with Rhys was uncomplicated and easy. Had a great time in the house.
