Our home is a peaceful and private acreage property located in the beautiful Tamborine area, offering a quiet country lifestyle with all the comforts of modern living. Set on a spacious block surrounded by nature, the property is well-suited for someone who enjoys a serene environment and being close to animals.

Set on a spacious block surrounded by nature, the property is well-suited for someone who enjoys a serene environment and being close to animals.

The house is a single-level residence with multiple bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living areas, and air conditioning/heating for year-round comfort. The outdoor area features a large yard, outdoor pool, larged covered entertainment area with firefit and bbq and paddocks. we have a few animals on the property, so some basic care may be required—mainly feeding and keeping an eye on their well-being.

The property is secure, quiet, and only a short drive to local shops and amenities. You’ll enjoy beautiful views, wildlife (kangaroos and Koalas plus the local bird wildlife), and the peaceful lifestyle that Tamborine has to offer.

Tamborine itself is a quiet rural community located at the base of Tamborine Mountain. Just a short drive up the mountain brings you to the heart of Tamborine Mountain, a vibrant and popular destination known for its lush rainforest walks, boutique wineries, cafes, art galleries, and the famous Gallery Walk shopping strip. The area is also home to national parks, waterfalls, and stunning lookouts, making it perfect for nature lovers.

I love the peace and space of Tamborine—waking to birdsong, enjoying sunsets, and being surrounded by nature. We're close to Tamborine Mountain’s cafes, walks, and shops, yet still connected to Brisbane and the Gold Coast. It’s the perfect rural-lifestyle balance.

we have 2 beautiful cats and a 3 month old kitten, 2 horses and a pony.
the 2 adult cats come in and out as they please (generally when they want feeding!) and the kitten is an indoor cat.
they are fed morning and night (or when they demand and are super cute) and their litter trays would need cleaning daily.
The horses need feeding AM and PM. I have neighbours who can assist with the horses if the situation arose or there was anything that meant the horses needed to be handled (for anyone not experienced with horses)

We had a wonderful stay at Selina’s beautiful home. The area is very peaceful with amazing views and lovely outdoor areas to enjoy them. We also enjoyed spotting the kangaroos in the evening. We loved spending time with her horses, who were very well behaved and friendly. Her two cats are lovely natured and were great around our young children. Selina is very friendly and organised. Such a beautiful, clean, tidy organised home in a stunning area. We very much enjoyed our stay and would be more than happy to house sit again for Selina.

Selina and Brett were so nice to us. Communication was great from the beginning, And they met with us before they left to show us around the house etc one more time. The house is really comfortable and in a nice quiet area. The cats are all amazing especially the kitten Black Panther! Atticus and Honey were really nice horses as well. It was a good first experience taking care of horses. They were super accommodating and helpful whenever something came up. All in all, we would definitely ... The communication with Selina and Brett was amazing during our whole stay. The two cats are lovely and easy to take care of. After confirming that we were comfortable with the horse and pony, Selina gave us very clear instructions to take care of them and we enjoyed a lot this new experience! The house and surroundings are very calm and full of kangaroos. Thanks a lot for the stay! Cheers xx
