We’re looking for house sitters while we’re away prefer a couple due to daily schedule
Our home is newly renovated with the best kitchen and dinner area 3 bed rooms 3 bathrooms .
we are close to shops, restaurants and public transport. The garden has plenty of plants, fruit trees, vegetables and herbs, and you’ll have your own upstairs bedroom and bathroom.

Our home is newly renovated with the best kitchen and dinner area 3 bed rooms 3 bathrooms .
we are close to shops, restaurants and public transport. The garden has plenty of plants, fruit trees, vegetables and herbs, and you’ll have your own upstairs bedroom and bathroom.
We have accounts with the vet and always supply all pet food while we’re away. I prepare animal meals in advance (usually three days’ worth in the fridge as a guide), with seed ready as well. Feeding all the animals takes about 10 minutes each morning.
No caretaker or maintenance duties required — we’re simply looking for someone who loves animals and will care for our home and furry/feathered family. We also have a clear, easy-to-follow house and pet information booklet that we keep updated.

Hi, just a quick overview while we’re away:
We have two cats — one is 19 years old and needs a little TLC as he’s getting a bit forgetful, sometimes gets lost in the house and meows a little. The other is 9 years old and very easygoing. They both need feeding morning and evening and are brought inside each night due to the cat curfew.
We also have five chickens that provide fresh eggs daily.
The garden is medium to large with plenty of vegetables, fresh herbs, and some fruit. It will need regular watering, including the greenhouse.
There’s also our 48-year-old galah who is very easy to care for, loves a scratch, and needs to be covered each day around 4:30pm (I’ll confirm timing before we leave).
We also have two rainbow lorikeets who live outside. They were previously pets and have been in our care for around 10 years. They’re very happy but unfortunately can’t fly due to old injuries.
For the days we are away , all food will be labelled and ready in the fridge and frozen . And on the bench — feeding takes about 10 minutes each morning. I’ll leave a clear instruction sheet, and all animal food will be stocked while we’re away. We can organise online grocery delivery if anything extra is needed.
We’ve allowed two days before we leave so we can show you everything and make sure you’re comfortable with the routine.
You have your own bathroom and large bedroom upstairs .

Average - Just watering only — no lawn mowing needed. Please also water the greenhouse and the indoor plants; it’s all very easy.
There are plenty of herbs, chillies and fruit trees, and we’ll be planting vegetables soon too, so feel free to use anything from the garden before we head off.

Mark and Adrian were the best hosts we’ve ever stayed with! They welcomed us so completely, we felt like part of the family by the end. They graciously let us stay a few days before and after their trip, to line up with our next house sits. We really missed them by the time we left! Their home was a beautiful paradise to stay in while in Flemington, and they have such a fun managery of animals - all rescues! You can’t go wrong sitting for these beautiful people :)
Mark and Adrian are friendly, kind and considerate hosts. They communicated well and gave clear instructions re care of the pets etc. They were very accommodating and we found their home comfortable, warm, well set up and conveniently located. It was easy to win Kittens heart, but it took some time for Juilette. All the birds and chicken were easy to handle and it was a good meditation to feed them in the morning. Mark & Adrian have various caged birds and chickens and the morning routine of preparing food/seed etc took around 15-20 minutes each day.
