Our home

We need a trustworthy house-sitter while we take a short break. Our boy Gibson is a 10 year-old large Silver Tabby x Maine Coon Cat. He's aloof like many cats, but will warm up to you for pats and occasional grooming with his brush. He's often outside sun-baking during the day, but is always safely locked indoors overnight from 5pm.

Ours is an air-conditioned two-storey house in a heritage-listed street, well-serviced by public transport and walking distance to a good shopping centre, large pub-restaurant and easy on-foot access to everything.

Ideally you would have a current police-check and/or several good references from previous sits - we prefer a couple or mature single house-sitter/s and would like to meet you in-person before reaching a decision.

Gibson needs some love and cuddles along with his regular meals and daytime spells outside in our garden. He's an older kitty with a very fluffy coat, and enjoys a brush and lots of petting once he 'warms up' to you.

medicationMedication/treatment required

Gibson is almost 11 and has arthritis in his back legs and is medicated to ease the inflammation. He's a bit too old now to leave unattended for very long.

Jodee was a great communicator, everything was very easy to follow & understand. The house was great, the area very convenient & nice. Gibson the big boy was a darling, he did fret a little but came around. Everything was provided for & it was a very enjoyable stay, I would happily go back again.
We had a great stay at Jodee and Warren’s home, it was very comfortable and clean and you can walk to the shops/train/bus stop. Gibson is a beautiful cat and warmed up to us over the sit, he is easy to take care of. Communication with Jodee was great :)
I loved looking after Gibson. He is so gentle and fluffy. The house is spotlessly clean and lovely and Jodee was very organised with a very comprehensive handbook and was lovely to communicate with. There are plenty of shops and cafes within walking distance of the house, which is situated in a lovely quiet street Would love to look after Gibson again in the future.
