Large family home - open living, back yard. Clean and maintained.
Petsitter has access to their own room furnished with a comfortable double bed. Some storage for clothes and personal belongings. Full use of main bathroom with bathtub and separate toilet.
Central heating and cooling.
Best suited for a couple or single person due to use of 1 double bed.

Leafy established suburb. Close to Belconnen Westfield and other shopping centres. Many walking tracks, markets and tourist attractions.
In Canberra, it's best to have own car. Public transport is intermittent and slow.

Best suited for adults (single person or couple). Bentley and Ruby don't cope too well with children.
Also there's only 1 double bed available for sitter.

We had a lovely couple of weeks house and pet sitting for Sylvia and Kingsley. Their house was perfectly comfortable and cosy, communication was great and instructions very clear. It was a handy location for us while working on our house in the next suburb! Ruby and Bentley endeared themselves to us and were easy to care for but are lively greeters and walkers (we were warned!) Audrey, the cat, is very easy. Can recommend to future house sitters!
This was a really good house sit in a nice comfortable house with modern kitchen and bathroom, and comfortable guest room/bed. The house was very clean and well organised. It is in a peaceful quiet street. We stayed for a week and looked after the 2 lovely natured schnauzer dogs and 1 geriatric cat. All 3 were easy to look after and were no trouble at all. The owners are lovely, friendly and well organised people who made us feel very welcome. They outlined clear instructions and contingency ... I had great pleasure looking after the much loved and sweet-natured fur babies at Kingsley and Sylvia's beautiful home. Bentley, Ruby and Audrey the senior cat were so easy to care for due to their humble nature and lovely attitude. Bentley was a much loved baby boy who asked for lots of belly rubs and cuddles, following me everywhere. Ruby was a quieter little darling girl who loved getting into my bed and asked for snuggles during the night. Audrey was more independent on her own due to her ...
