We live in a 4 bed 2 story house at the bottom of a quiet no through road.
Driveway parking.
Good size garden.
We are close to the ring road so easy access to Melbourne and Great Ocean Road.
5 min drive into Geelong city. Also on bus route.

Rudi is a beautiful energetic boarder collie, he is well trained with excellent off lead recall. He is an anxious chap who will need someone with a gentle approach to their first meeting. Rudi loves being around his people, he loves a good fuss and then a snooze in his own space.
Ripley is your typical staffy… zero spacial awareness and would sell her best friend for a slither of cheese. Also well trained with good recall. She is still young so when she’s on, she’s on. The rest of the time she snores away in a sunny spot as close to her humans as possible.
Both dogs are trained to ecollars if you feel more comfortable with them off lead with them on! Ripley sometimes needs reminding that not everyone wants to play with her.

A good run on the oval first thing and at the end of the day and they are happy. Rudi with his ball and Ripley just sniffing! They are both fine around other dogs and travel fine in a car. We have a good sized garden for kicking a ball around in too. If you fancied a walk on the beach they would happily go with you!

Ripley sleeps in a crate (because quite honestly she is a menace that can’t be trusted with stray shoes etc) Rudi sleeps anywhere he likes downstairs, but often on my best chair in the “no dogs” lounge 😂

We have a great enclosed space with a kennel for them undercover outside so they can be left safely for periods of time. They are used to having someone around a lot of the time so if you work from home you won’t be short of furry company!

Rudi and Ripley get on very well and can be left together with no worries. Their play can be noisy and boisterous… they may need to be told to calm down from time to time! They know being sent to their beds means it’s time to chill and they do this well!

Rudi definitely needs someone confident and assertive who will advocate for him when out and about (such as asking people not to pet him). He is wary to start but once you are in, you’re in! Ripley is an excitable house hippo that just wants a fuss and a little bite of your lunch… she’s an absolute cutie but strong and heavy!

Both dogs have dried food twice a day. (And whatever else they can bribe off the kids)

We do go back to the UK from time to time and have a 3 week trip planned over Christmas. We would love to find someone our dogs can really get to know who may want to sit for us again.
