Our home

Our home is a single storey free standing house (rental) in a quiet no through road - it backs onto Henson Park so lots of green spaces to walk (and lots of NRL and AFL if you like sport!). Very close by is the Henson pub, micro-breweries and award winning cafes (all dog friendly!). There is plenty of room available so the sitter can have their own room. Marrickville is very popular suburb with sport, live music, boutique breweries, excellent cafes, great cuisine on Marrickville road and is close to the metro for a speedy trip into the city. Marrickville residents are very friendly and welcoming and you will love your stay here!

My gorgeous Kelpie/cattle is a 10 yr old rescue dog - she is a sweet, calm gentle lady that likes a good walk every day, one feed and a few cuddles on the couch at night - that is all that is required!! She used to be a working dog and has just discovered the fun of playing instead of working so acts quite youthful - she gets on well with other dogs (apart from the occasional herding activity!) and we have a park right behind our house so its really easy. The street is quiet but friendly and Marrickville has loads of great parks, cafes, micro-breweries and a really friendly community, only a quick 10-15 min walk to the metro in Sydenham and 11 mins into the city.

Indy is amazing just like her owner Kira. I had an amazing time with Indy and enjoyed our walks around the oval and cozy stay at her place. Indy is quite a personality and very intelligent dog. Will happily see her again. Thanks both.
I had such a lovely experience house sitting for Indi. She is a rescue dog with the most gentle and affectionate nature, so easy to care for and always up for a cuddle, which made my stay extra special. Kira is incredibly kind, welcoming, and easy to communicate with, which made everything feel relaxed and comfortable from the start. It’s clear how much she cares for Indi. Taking care of Indi was a wonderful experience. Indi is an exceptional dog who makes everything easy and gives back all the love you show her. She is very expressive and obedient. Coordinating with Kira was a pleasure, and staying in her home felt just like being in my own. Overall, it was a great experience!
