Our home

This home was built in 2025!! You will have access to the guest bedroom and main bathroom. The kitchen is spectacular and the deck overlooks trees.

We are very close to Nambour, only a 5 minute walk to Aldi. And even closer to Koala Park ( which is Scout's favourite place to walk).

If you WFH then this spot is perfect for you. We have a large office, coffee machine and great office buddy (Scout).

favoriteWhat we love about our area

We love the new house, waking up to the sounds of birds and enjoying a cuppa on the deck. We love that Koala park is soo close (access via Bade St). And walking distance to Nambour if you need to grab groceries and go to a local coffee shop.

Our pets

Scout is a rescue Border Collie. He can be a bit nervous but once he warms up to you he will be after pats at every occasion.

He loves a daily walk but also really loves to sleep throughout the day. Scout is very clever and loves to do tricks for treats. He is not big on crowds or loud areas (beach is generally a no go) but he is quite confident on walks in bushland areas.

Scout is not allowed on the couch or in the carpeted bedrooms.

Our biggest challenge is finding someone who can let Scout outside to go to the toilet. We just moved into this new house and do not have a permanent doggy door set up. So we require someone who can let Scout outside in the morning, once during the day and right before bedtime. If you WFH then this spot is perfect for you. We have a large office, coffee machine and great office buddy (Scout).

Minimal - If it doesn't rain while we are away can you please water the outdoor plants with the hose. Once a week is plenty.

Indoor plants will be fine to be left alone.

We are two young working professionals, who love travelling, hiking, hanging out with friends and going to the beach. We love what the Sunshine Coast has to offer and love our location.

We prefer Scout to only be walked in our neighbourhood- Koala Park or nearby areas (Cilento waterfalls is another good one).

We had a lovely stay with Scout at Alex and Chloe's place. We enjoyed the walks around the neighbourhood and Koala Park with Scout. Scout is super sweet and loves some good pats! He mostly keeps to himself but was always hanging out around us, keeping us company whilst we worked. Clear instructions were left for us and we kept in touch during the sit. I had a wonderful stay at Alex and Chloe's home. Both of them were very friendly and welcoming and it was an absolute pleasure to meet them. The house was spotless and beautifully maintained, and I felt right at home. Communication on the facilities was excellent. Scout is a wonderful dog. It was easy to take care of him and it didn't take long for me to get his trust. Walks with him in the local park were very enjoyable. I can definitely give my recommendation to this house sit.
Was an absolutely pleasure caring for Scout while Chloe and Alex were way. Scout is a lovely dog, well behaved, who likes to keep himself clean and loves a cuddle. Communication was clear and effortless. Their home was clean, well equipped and comfy. The location is great, with easy access to shops and nearby beaches, and the neighbours were very friendly.
