Our home

We are a family who live in Oxenford on the Gold Coast. we have a 2 year old Dachshund and a 6 Year old cat.

Our Cat Steven is very low maintenance and thrives on neglect he always has dry food out and gets fed wet food once a night which sometimes he don’t eat, he doesn't love attention unless its his decision so best to leave him alone.

alan gets fed dry food in the morning and wet food at night a we give him his zactin tablet with dinner.

He is very food oriented so be careful where you place your plates and make sure you push the dining chairs in (he has figured out how to get onto the dinning and kitchen table) he has also figured out how to get in the bin also so we are mindful to either put something heavy on top or take it out when we leave the house

Alan sleeps in his crate at night which is in the bedroom.

He is a bit cheeky so he is on strict training walks only so there is no need to walk him during this stay

He acts either very excited or tough when people arrive we always have treats at the front for guests to give on arrival and then ignore him he will calm down quickly and just wait for him to come to you, he will then become your best friend. I recommend doing this every time you come and go during your stay

We have a 3 Bedroom 1 Bath house with a Large entertaining area close to the highway, theme parks and shops.

We are looking for a couple or single or to house sit as we only have one bedroom
And 2 kids rooms

both Alan and Steven get free range of inside and outside and we leave the glass back door open and lock the screen and they go in and out by the doggy door.

Thanks for having us Jacinta! It was lovely to have a little getaway in the Gold Coast and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Alan was so adorable and although he was a bit cheeky he was too cute not to love. Steven was a lovely cat and we enjoyed his company. Their home was a cosy, tidy place tucked into a suburban street yet the highway was a 5 minute drive away which was perfect for us. Thank you Jacinta!
