Our home

We live in a 2 bedroom & 1 garden small house which we call our cosy home - we absolutely love our home which is filled with love! We have a/c (heating & cooling), hot water thru water taps, puratap (drinking water), shower cubicle as well as a bath tub. Walking distance to the train station which has regular trains to both Gawler town centre & the city, just 5 mins to Gawler town if you drive. Barossa is not far at all as Gawler is the gateway to Barrossa where you can enjoy some time in vineyards, countrytowns and weekend markets :) Supermarkets and shops are only a couple of minutes away by car (Coles, Aldi, food shops, cafes and retail shops. There is a private driveway for parking (one car only).

favoriteWhat we love about our area

We live in a lovely neighbourhood - we enjoy having a walk on our tree lined streets, it's easy to drive to Gawler or the nearby supermarkets/shops. A few train stations are easy to reach (walk/driving), thats where you can catch a train to city and to Gawler town.

Our pets

DogsDogs (6)
We have 6 adorable chihuahuas, all with beautiful personalities, very loving, some are very interactive with humans (or even clingy!), some are a bit chilled which means being happily in their own space most of time :) They are trained reasonably well, which means they dont randomly bark unless someone is very close to our door. 4 sleeps in my partner's bed at night, they sleep well, no trouble at all, occasionally one or two might go to pee mat for a pee. The other 2 sleep in the dog bed. They dont necessarily need to be taken out for a walk due to their small sizes and the potential vulnerability in a situation of being approached by other unleashed big heavy dogs. If you like to walk them, we suggest you take 2 at a time rather than 5 at a time (one chihuahua doesnt like going out). Anyway, we are quite happy if they are staying home while we are away. Theres no medication for them. As for their main meal - wet food from a can is used, twice a day, apart from that, we have fritz and dry food as a snack or an add-on to their meals. Water dispenser must be checked every couple of days to ensure there is enough drinking water for them. They are trained to do pee and poo on pee mats which do need to be changed twice a day, only one out of the six (the youngest one) may be a bit naughty very occasionally which means she might pee accidentally on the floor, only occasionally. As for more details, we can go through it when we chat with each other :) It's not a lot of work as we do these before we go to work in the morning and also after we come home in the afternoon. My partner works from home some days, I get jealous as he is bombarded by the furkids (cuteness overload for sure!) :)

Our garden

local_floristGarden or plant care

Minimal - Our plants (most of them) are in pots, we do have 2 small garden beds tho - Sep and Oct here would be Spring which means mild weather - watering is required if you dont mind? But not as much as in Summer time. There are a few plants inside our house too. We will go thru the simple instruction when we chat :)
