Our home

We have a veggie garden and chickens. A beehive is 6m+ from the house in the front yard; no maintenance required but please do not apply if you are anaphylactic, in case.
There are 3 bedrooms but the guest room is also a study with a double(King) Ecosa sofa bed. Study has a standing desk, and a monitor for you to plug in a laptop. Laundry has a combo washer-dryer but there are also lines to hang clothes outside if you prefer. BBQ & outdoor dining set.Shower & toilet ensuite to the guest bedroom.
Floor is carpet mostly and tiled in wet areas. No shoes in the house.

favoriteWhat we love about our area

We live by expansive parklands for leisurely walks. There are often horses and kangaroos next door.
15 min drive to major shopping centres, 7 mins to supermarkets and trains. (Bus route also takes you to all aforementioned).

External stairs / steps, Land is sloped so there are steps at the front to get into the house, but the backyard is level with the back door. Garage is under the house and will be locked but there is 2 carspaces in the driveway.

One cavoodle. Requires a daily walk otherwise low maintenance, likes to play fetch or curl up on the couch while watching TV. Shut in/sleeps in laundry overnight. Needs to be shut in the study when no one at home (used to office hours). Shy from other dogs.
The chickens are gentle/skittish. They benefit from free ranging after work and will go back to bed when dark. Sitter needs to ensure they are locked up properly as there are foxes. Need water and food topped up every 2nd day. No eggs at the moment but cute chicks to look at.

We are a banker and nurse, parents of primary aged kids, trying to be more self sufficient by starting a veggie garden, with chickens and bees. This is our family home so please treat with love.
