Thornton is within easy travel to Newcastle and its beautiful beaches. Car or take the train from local station. 35 mins to gorgeous Port Stephens and 35 mins to the Hunter Valley. Maitland is a historic town and we have great shopping at Greenhills. Lots of lovely coffee shops and restaurants

We absolutely loved this sit. Sharon and John were wonderful to deal with – clear communication, very welcoming, and their home was spotless and extremely comfortable. The location in Thornton is excellent: easy access to Newcastle, Port Stephens and the Hunter Valley, plus shops, cafes and the train station nearby. Their three dogs, Pepper, Eddie and Bonnie, were an absolute pleasure. Pepper’s medication routine was simple and well-explained, and all three dogs were affectionate, easygoing ...
