Our home

Im looking for someone who would like to look after my two cattle dogs ages 12 and 13years and 3 chooks. The dogs are not that active are quite happy just mucking around in their own back yard. They do not need to be walked as one is dog reactive so must be kept in their yard at all times. I would need someone who is happy to spend every night at home as they need to be put into the laundry at night and then let out to go to the toilet in the morning. They are always inside when I am home. Our house is a four bedroom three bathroom home. Please don't apply if you have to bring your own animals with you as one of the cattle dogs is dog reactive to strange dogs. No children as neither dog has any experience with children. No smokers please. The house is situated 5 minute drive to Mansfield Township and about an hours drive to the top of Mount Buller. It is in a nice quiet street and the house is situated on an acre of land which backs onto farm land. There are many Restaurants, Cafe's and interesting little shops in the main street of Mansfield and if you want a bigger town Wangaratta is around 1 hours drive. Kind regards Michele

It is so quiet but at the same time neighbours are so friendly and lovely. We have a great network of friends near us. Mansfield is a vibrant town always busy and we have so many lovely places to visit on our door step.

Two cattle dogs - Bazz is a 13 year old Kelpie and Bear is a 12 year old Stumpy Australian cattle dog. Both are happy to hang around the property no need to walk.
They are locked up at night into the laundry and have Breakfast and dinner.

3 chickens - just need to lock up at night and open up in the morning. Check and refill water and food. They will give you lovely eggs for your efforts

Average - Garden and lawn on automatic sprinkler system. May need to mow but have ride on in shed. Pots on back deck may need watering.

My name is Michele and my husband, Chris and I have lived in our current house for 4 1/2 years. This is the second time we have lived in this beautiful part of Victoria. Mansfield is a lovely spot.

We had a lovely time looking after Baz and Bear, they are so well behaved and have a great daily routine. Very affectionate, love their daily ball chase. Michelle and Chris have a beautiful spacious home with the most peaceful outlook. We loved sitting on the large deck with the boys at our feet. The chooks enjoyed scratching around the garden and we were rewarded with delicious eggs. Michelle is very organised had a great welcome folder. The joy of a toasty warm home during the winter season! The rooms are bright and spacious. Excellent easy-clean guest bathroom. Appreciated the wide selection of cooking options. The two B's were very affectionate and easy to exercise with a ball thrower in the huge back yard. Bear is very bouncy; Bazza is a smart gent. Communications to sort out pet and household concerns were timely. Looking forward to a re-visit in November!
