Our home

An affectionate indoor cat, 2 happy dogs and 2 friendly horses require a caring sitter to keep them company while we are away. Our cat loves a lap to sit on and her tea in the evening, puppies would love a walk twice a day, and their tea in the evening, while the ponies need fresh water and being fed twice daily to keep their tummies happy. Experience with horses is preferred but not essential. Our home is a small farm cottage and may not be suitable for families. Your own car would be essential, as we are on a farm and are not within walking distance of amenities.

Located near the north west coast of Tasmania, our home is only a short drive or day trip to major attractions including Cradle Mountain, Stanley historical village, Bell’s Parade and other scenic locations. Three towns with services are located only 10 minutes away.

Patricia gave very clear instruction with the house and pets caring, also introduce me each animal's habit which absolutely make me feel confident even I don't have much experience with horses. All the animals are friendly and each got their very own fascinating character. Both of dogs are so smart and I definetly feel their passion interacting with me. Macey the cat, she's such a little funny thing, likes to watch me cook and dine all the time. I feel very welcomed by Patricia and David, also ... Thank you once again Tricia for offering such an amazing housesit. The dogs, horses and of course the cat were all a delight, the produce from the garden was so much appreciated, and the opportunity to play in the delightful rose garden was sublime. The sheltered position I was able to park in so close to the house with my dogs so welcome and made comfortable. Am so looking forward to returning in July and highly recommend this housesit to anyone lucky enough to have it offered to them.
