Hi, I am an extremely dependable house and pet-sitter with fourteen years experience travelling and caring for beautiful animals all over Australia and throughout many other parts of the world!

I am a retired Canadian teacher who is very keen to cuddle your cats, canines and any other loveable pets you might have.

With an extensive background in the Girl Guide organization, I am respectful of others, of their belongings and, of course, their lovely pets and homes. I'm a responsible non-smoker and not a partier in the least!

I caught the travelling "bug" years ago and have discovered that house and pet-sitting is a terrific way to enjoy the many special places in beautiful Australia, and also to spend time with lovely animals. I've been escaping the Canadian winters since 2012 (until Covid hit and sent me scurrying home from NSW in 2020). I'm so thrilled to be back for more fun!

I've gained plenty of experience pet-sitting in France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, England, Spain, French Polynesia, Italy, Austria, Canada, New Zealand and all over Australia. I've travelled to all of your states and have even driven across the Nullarbor!

Over the years, I've been delighted to meet and love more than 60 dogs, 23 cats, 19 alpaca, 4 pigs, 3 Shetland ponies, 9 guinea pigs, 11 horses, 2 hilarious goats, Doc and Bashful and 2 cows named Ribeye and T-Bone! I've cared for a ton of sheep, turkeys, chooks, some entertaining geese, finches and parrots, more than a dozen rabbits, four turtles and a "dook" in the Yorkshire Dales! I even hatched a baby quail in an incubator in New Zealand! You can see that I am experienced in cuddling and caring for animals, and that I love to have lots of fun with them!

I CAN PROVIDE REFERENCES AND A CLEAR POLICE CHECK IS ALSO AVAILABLE.

My family has always included pets. Over the years I've loved my own precious pussycat sisters, Puffin & Orca, as well as a long-eared Basset Hound, and a very quiet turtle.

I have a car in Australia so am able to get to you without any problems.

I will treat your animals and your home like the treasures they are!

I just knew Trish would be a fabulous sitter from the pre-communication ! Every question was asked - and all care taken. On top of this, Trish had great love for my girls and also had a lot of fun playing duck patiently hours upon hour. I returned home to a happy four, and a clean house. Just wish Trish could be here in August, as she will be number one choice for our luvvies.
We can’t thank Trish enough. Our use of a house sitter was to have someone love our Ted as much as we do. After meeting Trish we felt that it was a perfect fit. While we were away we received photos of a happy and contented Ted. In fact we do feel that he missed Trish very much when she was no longer around. We would not hesitate to have Trish back. Trish was an absolutely wonderful house sitter, and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking to have their home and pets well cared for. From the beginning, communication with her was easy and she made us feel very secure in our decision to choose her. We came home to a clean house and a very contented dog. We would have no hesitation in having Trish back for future house sits. Thanks again Trish, for making our holiday stress free!
Caz and I thank you both. We absolutely loved our time in Pennant Hills. Your home is a true nature-lovers paradise, (parrots and all), with a gem of a boy. We felt so much warmth and affection for Ted and would love to return again.
This is my first time I have used this site. Trish was very communication was great. My babies Opie and Ruby have not been left before, this was challenging for Opie he started to pee everywhere. I put this done to fretting and heavy rainy weather. Trish was great with both of them Opie issue was not a problem. Trish took care of our home like it was her own I would recommend Trish for any house sit. Thank you Trish for keeping our babies safe.

Given the apparent long time experience of this sitter, we anticipated a far better result than what eventuated. At the very least we thought our dogs would be fully cared for in accordance with our requests. Sadly this was not the case.
I am shocked with this negative review. Never in 13+ yrs have I received less than outstanding reviews over 7 different platforms. House was cleaned & left as I found it. Past owners have written: “spotless”, “immaculate”, “tip top condition”. I’ve been invited back for repeat sits on 7+ occasions. I shared pre-arrival updates, (6 times). Texted on 17/21 days & shared 42 pics/videos. We chatted daily about dogs, workmen, plants, weather. No idea how I could have communicated better. We LOVED these dogs! Steamed veggies daily, fed & medicated them scrupulously. Walked them, bonded with them. One had an irritation inside ear flap, found after I left. No signs of discomfort were shown. All indoor/outdoor plants on this expansive acreage were watered. I ask myself: Reasonable?

Trish and Pauline were wonderful! The best house sitters I've ever had. They were patient and gentle with my nervous dogs and regularly sent updates on how the dogs were coping. I came home to an immaculate house and a lovely meal prepared. I highly recommend them and I would welcome them back at any time.
