For us, house sitting is about more than just travelling, it's about caring for animals and experiencing life as a local whilst building a bond with every pet we meet. Looking after someone's home is a responsibility we take seriously, and we enjoy leaving every home just as we found it.

Hello! We're Issy and Louis and we are a trustworthy couple with a genuine passion for animals, travel, and experiencing new places through house sitting.

I have worked professionally as a pet sitter for the past year and a half for The Stamford Catsitter company in Stamford, Lincolnshire UK and I am DBS checked! (check link at the bottom). During this time, I've cared for cats, dogs, bunnies, chickens, horses, a parrot and even alpacas! Iv'e looked after pets of all ages and personalities, making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away.

As part of my role, I have completed many overnight house sits, including a month long live-in sit caring for two dogs. Every day, I am trusted with clients' homes, pets, and routines, which has taught me the importance of being reliable, responsible, and attentive to detail. Looking after people's homes and beloved pets on a daily basis, has given me a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism that I will bring to every house sit.

Louis has practical farming experience and has previously spent four months working on a harvest in New South Wales, Australia as well as working 4 harvests in the UK. He's hardworking, dependable, and no stranger to caring for animals or maintaining outdoor spaces - he's quite the handyman! Having already experienced life in Australia, he's excited to return and explore more of the country.

We're both lifelong animal lovers who each have cats at home! We've both had experience of working on a stables here in the UK so were no strangers to horses either! Whether it's daily walks, feeding, administering medication, maintaining routines, playtime, or simply spending quality time with your pets, we'll care for them as though they were our own as we understand that every pet deserves patient, loving care.

We're tidy, respectful, and take pride in keeping a home clean, secure, and well maintained. We understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust, and we're committed to giving you complete peace of mind while you're away. We'll care for both your home and your pets with the same level of attention and respect that we would our own.

We look forward to meeting you and giving your pets plenty of love, care, and companionship while you're away :)

With Louis’ hands on farming experience, including working a four-month harvest in NSW and also working 4 harvests here in the UK, he is comfortable with the demands of farm life and has experience using large machinery and outdoor power equipment to help maintain properties. Our experiences caring for horses has given us a strong understanding of the dedication, patience, and hard work required to provide the highest level of care for farm animals.

We will be arriving in Australia on the 24th October. We plan to buy a car so we have the freedom to travel wherever and whenever! Our main travel plan is to work our way up the East Coast but we don't mind where we stop along the way :)
