We love animals, travelling, and meeting new people. We are open, respectful and easy to communicate with.
House sitting feels like a lovely way for us to help others while spending time with pets and getting to know more local areas, because Emily moved from Germany to build a life with Lahiru.

Hi, we’re Emily and Lahiru, a friendly and reliable couple based in Yokine.

Emily is 28 and grew up on a farm in Germany. Her parents own a restaurant with a hotel, so she grew up helping with cleaning, guest care, and practical jobs around the property. Emily's dad also taught her how to fix small things herself, so she is hands-on, tidy, and happy to help with small tasks around the home.

Lahiru is 34, grew up in Melbourne, and now lives in Perth. He is a proud homeowner, has lived in share houses, and treats every home with care and respect. He is organised, practical, and used to keeping a home clean and well looked after.
We are new to formal house sitting, but we bring plenty of real home and pet-care experience. Lahiru raised a golden retriever puppy and has also spent a time around an English Bullmastiff and bunnies. Emily’s farm background also means she is comfortable around animals and understands routine, patience, and care.

We would be delighted to look after your pets and your home while you are away. We are happy to follow your instructions closely, keep you updated, collect mail, water plants, keep the home tidy, and make sure your pets feel safe and loved.

We are based in Yokine and are happy to come down and meet you in person before the house sit. References are also available if you would like them.

Pet care

Emmi grew up on a farm in Germany with horses, sheep, goats, rabbits, pigeons, chickens, dogs and cats. Her parents taught her to always care for the animals first before having her own meals. We like that and would do this with your animals too.
