Sydney felt different and kind of like home from the moment I arrived, which is why I'm so excited to be putting down roots here. I'm planning to bridge the time in between finishing up my master's and starting a new job and finding a place to live here.

While I finish up my master's thesis, I have a wonderfully flexible schedule. Which means plenty of time, presence, and energy for your home and your animals.

Speaking of animals: I've been the person all my friends call when they need someone to love and walk their dog. Growing up, I had budgies fluttering around the house. In Berlin, I shared a flat with cats who completely ran the show. I've always dreamed of having my own dog one day. But until that day comes, I pour all of that love into the animals I get to care for. I think they just bring so much joy and make life so much better, don't they? :)

When I'm not writing my thesis or making friends with the nearest dog, you'll find me outdoors soaking up as much sun as humanly possible, staying active, and exploring everything Sydney has to offer.

In Berlin, I shared my home with cats (who, as any cat person knows, means learning to earn their trust on their terms).
But dogs are where my heart truly lives. Over the years I've cared for a lovely range of pups, from small terriers and French bulldogs to bigger, more energetic breeds like Labradors, Labradoodles, and Australian Shepherds. Each one has taught me something new about reading animal behaviour and adapting to their individual personality and needs.
Whether it's a slow morning walk, playtime in the park, or just cosy company on the couch, I genuinely love every moment of it!

Shirin was a delightful house/pet sitter. My anxious cat was content and clearly well looked after. Shirin was quick to answer messages The flat was immaculate when I arrived home I would highly recommend her as a sitter
Shirin was a great sitter. She took our Labrador for many varied walks and kept good care of him. House was clean and tidy when we returned. Shirin is recommended as a sitter and we would be happy to have her back in the future.
