We are a retired couple who have started travelling Aus and want to help out families so they can travel and we can still get our dog/cat/any animal pats.
My husband is in his element in the garden.

Hi, I'm Jacqui 59 years young and recently early retired so I can travel Australia with my 59yo husband who retired from his work in emergency services. We sold our family home and started travelling in our 19.6ft Jayco Adventurer caravan in late February 2026 for possibly 5+ years.

Currently in Karijini NP, heading to Exmouth/Coral Bay, around east Perth early Sep, Margaret River/Bussleton in late Sep/Oct then Esperence November > back over towards SA/VIC/NSW.

We're still not ready to have another dog yet after losing our 15 1/2 yo blue cattle dog to old age and weirdly missing our sons 5yo moggy cat called Mocha Chino - turns out we're cat people too now.

As we're both honest and reliable with a love for animals we'd like to slow down our travels to look around places without caravan parks and free camping all the time and help out other travellers get out n about. We miss walking our girl everyday which kept us active & enjoying the lake/beach.

Just realised not many photos with our pets because we're giving them 100% attention.

Thank you Jacqui and Peter for caring for Gypsie, walking her every day and maintaining her weekly medication schedule. On my return, Gypsie is happy, and food and water dishes cleaned as per my request. The house is clean, garden looks happy and my beans have grown about 60 cm while I’ve been away so they have obviously been getting well watered. Jacqui and Peter are friendly and easy going couple who have communicated well before, during and after the housesitting. I would highly recommend ...
