Hi! Our names are Darby (26) and Adam (29) and we are in the Albury/Wodonga area and have been house sitting for around 4 months now.

favoriteWhy we love house sitting

We love exploring new locations and different life experiences. We both love animas and have previously both owned pets, so we like the opportunity to care for others. We also enjoy that housesitting helps us meet new people and possibly even ongoing friendships along the way.

We like to live a happy, easy going and relaxed life. I personally like trying new things with cooking, I love arts and crafts and reading a good book in a comfy cosy setting. Adam likes tinkering and all things mechanical. He also loves plants, gardening and cooks any dinner he can and sometimes the dinners he can’t on a BBQ. We both love camping and exploring new places.

My partner has lived/worked on farms (mostly cropping but some stock) for over 10 years during his working career and came from a farming background before his career. I have also come from a farming background mainly almond farming and some winter cropping.

Darby and Adam looked after our 3 dogs and cat for 3 weeks, the animals were beautifully looked after and so was the house. It was lovely to come home to a clean house and happy creatures.
Adam and Darby were our house sitters for 12 weeks. They looked after our 2 ponies well, ensuring they were fed twice daily and medication given daily to one of them and gave us peace of mind that our house wasn't sitting empty while we were away. We received regular updates on how things were going. We would not hesitate to recommend them to others and would definitely use them again ourselves.
