We moved to the Mid North Coast for work and often visit family and friends in Sydney and Melbourne. But outside of that, we love living like locals and have a genuine love for animals of all shapes and sizes.

Hello! We’re Liv and Jess, a married couple who genuinely enjoy caring for homes and animals while people are away.

We’re tidy, respectful, organised, and great communicators. We take pride in keeping routines consistent and leaving homes well looked after. Whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, medications, garden care, bins, or general household upkeep, we’re happy to manage the details so you can travel with peace of mind.

Animals are a big part of our life. We share our home on the Mid North Coast with a much-loved cattle dog, Neddy, so we’re very comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, as well as cats and other pets.

Importantly, Ned does not travel with us on house sits, so your pets have our full attention.

We both work flexibly and spend a lot of time at home, which means pets get plenty of company, consistency, and care rather than being left alone all day. We’re also happy to send regular updates, photos, or check-ins daily.

We travel a lot ro Sydney and Melbourne to see family and friends and are happy to discuss availability, length of sits, and any specific requirements you may have.

We've mostly used another housesitting site, so we have plenty of references available, and we’re always happy to chat or arrange a call to make sure it feels like the right fit for everyone.

Pet care

We’re big animal people and genuinely love the company of pets. Between us we’ve cared for energetic dogs who love long walks, older pets who prefer a slower pace, curious cats who run the house, and the odd fish or bird.

Between us we’ve cared for energetic dogs who love long walks, older pets who prefer a slower pace, curious cats who run the house, and the odd fish or bird.

We share our life with a much-loved cattle dog, Neddy, so dogs are second nature to us, but he stays home while we’re on house sits, meaning your pets get our full attention and space. Liv has a special soft spot for cats as she was always a cat mum before Neddy came into the picture.

Because we both work flexibly and spend lots of time at home, pets get plenty of company, cuddles (if they’re into that), playtime, and companionship. We’re also very happy to send regular photo updates so you can see how everyone’s going.

Liv looked after our well-behaved Labrador Billie and our waterview home for five weeks while we were overseas and we couldn’t have asked for more. She even rearranged her own plans to arrive a day early so we could make our early morning flight without worrying. Billie was clearly the priority from day one, happily joining Liv in everyday life (including a day or two at the office!) and absolutely adored. The daily photos were priceless and gave us complete peace of mind. We came home ... We came home to a healthy, happy Labrador who hadn’t gained any weight (unlike us!), a well-kept house, and neighbours who hadn’t heard a peep. Billie genuinely missed Liv when she left and still gets excited if we say her name. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Liv and would recommend her in a heartbeat.

Liv was an absolute gift as a dog and house sitter. Billie was exceptionally well looked after – healthy, happy and clearly adored. She took to Liv like a long-lost friend, which says everything. We had great communication before and during the sit, with thoughtful updates and lovely photos of Billie out and about. It was obvious Liv didn’t just “watch” her – she included her in daily life.
