I love the idea because I can help give others the opportunity to travel knowing their home and pets are cared for whilst I also travel. I love being able to help others and I think this is a perfect way to do that.

Due to chronic health issues I’ve also recently changed my career path to something which allows me to travel whilst I work and because I’d love to do my bit in helping others while I travel around I’ve decided to go down the house/petsitting route while I’m at it so I can help give others with pets and houses that need looking after the opportunity to travel knowing their most cherished are being looked after.

I’d much prefer to do longer house/pet sits that way I can explore more and get to know the areas I’m in without having to move on to the next sit so quickly but I’m more than happy to take on smaller ones too to fill in the gaps and boost my experience and feedback for future sits as I do like to make a good impression.

Pets wise although I’ve had the most experience around cats from having them most of my adult life I would prefer to look after mostly smaller or older more relaxed animals due to my chronic issues being exhausting at times but am open to larger dogs if it’s just the one.

At this point I do not need a car space during sits as both my cars are currently away in storage awaiting repairs and I most likely won’t have one until around September so would prefer to do sits fairly close to public transport with easy access to a main supermarket whilst I don’t have a car.

All I hope for is to be given a fair go so I’m more than happy to talk to you on the phone via video call or meet with you prior if possible so you can show me how you like to run your home and give updates here and there during sits for your peace of mind to know your home and pets if you have them are nice and safe in return for giving me the opportunity to stay in your lovely home and care for your much loved pets.

I also now have a clear and current police check if it’s needed for extra piece of mind.

I’m currently booked from:
- August 10th to August 31st
- September 16th to October 25th

I’d love to book in some other sits between these in early September preferably close to St Kilda for the weekend of the 5th and 6th and would prefer to start heading north from Victoria up the east coast towards Newcastle after October 25th so sits that will gradually get me there would be ideal.

My travel plans are to explore Melbourne and country Victoria until late October and then slowly work my way north to Newcastle on the NSW Central Coast and then stay in that area until at least the new year.

Review

Dylan looked after all our pets with care and attention. He followed all instructions and left the house very clean and tidy. Would recommend to others.
