favoriteWhy I love house sitting

House-sitting affords me the opportunity to slow travel, to live in communities and places around the world. I have spent months on sits in Australia, Scotland, England, and France and have enjoyed many wonderful moments there, not the least of which is caring for furred family members.

I was a registered nurse for many years and recently began a career as a psychologist. I am driven by compassion and the desire to empower others. I enjoy history, puzzles, music, deep conversations and watching creative shows on TV, plus the occasional musical, science fiction epic, mystery, biopic or romcom.

I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I am clean, organised, and friendly.

Pet care

I have had the pleasure of caring for many dogs, cats, goats, chickens, ducks and other animals during my house-sitting travels. I have cared for homes and pets in the tropics and in the snow, in the wet and the dry. I have a calm and gentle manner and pets have always taken to me very positively.
