We’re a retired couple who have been living overseas, but back now in Adelaide on a more permanent basis.

favoriteWhy we love house sitting

I thoroughly enjoyed not only the stay but also the mutual respect both parties had for each other; both the homeowner to share their home and by us to carefully look after the space and pet.

While we’ve been living overseas for over 20 years, we’re now making the transition to call Adelaide home again.
We’re currently staying with family whilst we find a more permanent option - so open to housesit to give them (and us!) some space from time to time.
We love having animals around us and will look after them like they’re our own - we’d prefer to care for either cats or smaller dogs as they are more familiar.
I’m also an avid gardener and will tend to whatever’s requested.

Pet care

We have owned all types of animals with our family; dogs, cats, budgies, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats. We had both cats and dogs in Vanuatu, including Bubba (pic 12).

We have housesat for the following animals:

We could not have found a more loving couple to look after our precious 2 mini schnauzers.We received regular photos and update which was very reassuring and made our trip away 31 days so stress free. As one schnauzer is diabetic and need daily injections even more reassuring. Our home was left beautiful and clean upon our return all bedding towels cleaned. Amazing to find such incredible people on this site would recommend them in a heart beat and hope to have them return to look after our ... Loved meeting Rosie & Grahame, they took such great care of our elderly dog, fish and the house. I particularly loved the daily photos, messages and the detail of everything followed up. Coming home on a late flight back into cold weather, the house was immaculate, warm and greeted by a very happy, content dog - best homecoming ever! Thankyou so much
Rosie did an absolutely outstanding job house sitting for us. She took incredible care of our dog, Pepper—ensuring she was well walked, groomed, and provided with plenty of enrichment and attention. Pepper was clearly happy and well looked after the entire time. Rosie’s communication was excellent, with regular updates and photos that gave us complete peace of mind while we were away.
