We are a retired, non smoking, animal loving couple from the UK, who enjoy travelling.
We can give you peace of mind by looking after your home and caring for your pets while you are away.

favoriteWhy we love house sitting

We have carried out several house sits both here in the UK and in Austral caring for dogs, cats and fish. We love the outdoors and particularly the ocean. The weather in the UK is unpredictable to say the least! Australia is a lot more dependable, plus the people are great. We can’t wait to return!!

We are coming to Australia from the end of November 2025 to the end of March 2026. We have completed several house sits in the UK and are booked to complete a sit over Christmas in Brisbane for 3.5 weeks while the Owners travel to the UK to see their family, we will be looking after their French Bulldogs Frank and Elsie who look adorable we are really looking forward to meeting them. We then travel to Glenelg near Adelaide for a short break in our favourite Hotel. We then move to Victor Harbour, which looks amazing to look after Lennie their cute Ragdoll Cat for a few weeks. After a some time in Perth we fly back to the UK

Our time and travel are very flexible.We now have official Visas that allow us to stay in your wonderfull Country for over 6 months
I occasionally work in a school and so have a full UK police check certificate (DBS).

Ellen and Roy were an absolute delight. We were fortunate enough to have a couple of days with them before leaving on our vacation. We got regular updates and pictures of our two Frenchies and they were having a super time together. We would highly recommend them for any future housesit and would love to have them back to care for our house and dogs at any stage. We absolutely could not have felt more at ease and confident that Ellen and Roy were looking after our home and pets. Just the pre communication and during were extremely reassuring and just the right amount. They have been so gracious and kind about our somewhat eccentric farmhouse and we know our dog has certainly been spoilt and is now rather fond of them. Ellen and Roy were excellent house sitters.My house was super clean when I returned.Millie my cat was very happy while I was away and she was very well looked after .Ellen sent me some photos of Millie and she seemed quite happy .Ellen and Roy were from England and I would highly recommend them to house sit in anyone’s home .
thanks to Ellen and Roy for house sitting and looking after Macie, They did a fantastic job, it was lovely coming home to a clean home and a happy dog. Would not hesitate to have Ellen and Roy again.
Ellen and Roy were fantastic house sitters. We came home to a clean, tidy house, a well-kept garden, and a very content cat! It was nice getting pictures of him too. They clearly took great care of everything while we were away, and we wouldn’t hesitate to have them back again. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

Ellen & Roy were fabulous house & pet sitters, and totally surpassed our expectations. Sid loved them straight away and got plenty of walks to the woods, playtime and company. We got lots of photo updates whilst we were away so we could relax and enjoy our holiday. The house was absolutely spotless when we got home, and beautifully looked after, with the bedding all washed before they left. Never expected that! Ellen and Roy were great housesitters. They left our home in a clean and tidy state. They looked after our cat very well and sent us a couple of photos of him while we were away. This was their first housesit but I’m sure it won’t be their last and I would certainly recommend them to others. I hope they would consider coming back to housesit for us again.
