I have cared for both small and large dogs and cats. When I visit friends their dogs like to hang out with me because they know they will get lots of pats and cuddles if they want.

I love meeting new animals and spending time with them playing and walking outside and hanging out together inside. I like to enjoy new surroundings and look after homes and plants as needed.

I would love to look after your precious pets and take care of your home and plants.
I have house and cat and dog sat over the years and have references available.
I did a recent sit with Chuck the beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog. He wanted hugs and cuddles all the time and he loved walks.

I kept the owners updated and sent photos of Chuck walking, resting and sleeping. We had lots of chuckles about how cute he is. The owners thought he was a bit naughty but I read up about his breed to better understand him. He trusted me and we had a great time.
The owners said I left their apartment cleaner than when they left for their vacation.
Dogs often approach me on the street to the owner's surprise as they say the dogs are usually shy. Last year I visited my friend in Ireland and her extremely timid rescue dog let me pet her after a few days, which my friend said was weeks quicker than other visitors.
I own my own home and my neighbour's cats like to visit me for pats and cuddles and naps. They are lovely to have around.
I looked after cats Teddy and Ginger in Melbourne in January.
They loved to go outside in the backyard and hang out on the couch with me.
I'm an Information Technology worker on a break, non smoker.
I'm a bit of a home body at the moment having recently come back from 13 months overseas.
I have a police check.
I don't need payment.
I am very happy to do a video call.
I like to be clear with the owners on expectations so that the pets are happy and relaxed and have all the normal number of walks and play and cuddle time as well as feeds and any other requirements.

Pet care

I have looked after old and young cats and dogs, from little cute fluff balls to large adorable dogs. I like to look into the breeds to understand their way of looking at life and family and gaining their trust with lots of assurance and love.
I also briefly looked after a turtle 🐢

Consuelo was excellent in every way. Her attention to detail and communication was outstanding and most importantly her love and care of our fur babies was amazing. We got regular photos and updates and they looked happy and healthy. We would recommend and reuse Consuelo again for future sits if the dates align. Much appreciated Consuelo.
Being the first time I had used ahouse/dog sitter I was a bit tentative about leaving both my dog and home in the care of a stranger. I need not have worried. Consuelo was the perfect sitter and guest in our home and she not only took loving and expert care of our dog albert, but she looked after our home and left it spotlessly clean. Consuelo was a fantastic house sitter. She was excellent in her communication and took wonderful care of our two pugs. We came home to a clean house and happy dogs. Would highly recommend.
Consuelo was honestly one of the best Housesitters I’ve ever had. My home was so well looked after and my pets were happy and relaxed. The best! Thank you so much.
Pixie took to Consuelo straight away when we caught up before my trip. They went for a walk and Pixie was very calm. Consuelo sent me daily pics and news during her stay. My place was tidy and clean on my return. I would highly recommend Consuelo to look after your beloved pet and home. She was very compassionate with Pixie who is initially a little nervous around strangers. Will be reaching out to her again.

This is the second time Consuelo has house sit for me. My little dog was sick and Consuleo took her to the vet for me and kept in constant contact to keep me informed of her situation. She administered her medications and consulted with the vet as required. I had to return home to take care of my dog and Consuelo was extremely understanding in the need to cut the house sit short. If you need a house sitter and Consuelo is available, then do not hesitate. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Her communication prior, during and after the house-sitting engagement was exceptional. I received constant updates on my much-loved fur baby Millie, and it was evident that she was well cared for and attention to her needs and regimes were followed as per my instructions and more. We could not have been happier with Consuelo’s care she showed towards our pets while we were away. She kindly sent through updates on how they were going and photos of them out and about! She left the house spotless too. We would have Consuelo back to housesit in a heartbeat!!!!
Consuelo did everything possible to look after my crazy 7 month old Labrador puppy and two cats. She kept me fully updated as to their wellbeing. She carefully followed our established routines and contacted me if she had questions or suggestions. I returned home to happy and healthy pets and to a very clean house.
Consuelo kept in regular contact before and during the house-sit confirming all was in order. Photos of my cat were forwarded to me whilst i was away and I could tell she was being well cared for. The house was left in a spotless condition, including washing of bed linen and towels. Consuelo is reliable, considerate and obviously loves animals. I would have Consuelo sit for me again.
