Hi everyone, I'm Charmaine, I'm from Far North Qld and currently based in south-west WA. I don't have pets of my own, so loving on yours keeps me healthy and happy!

favoriteWhy I love house sitting

Sometimes a girl just needs a safe space to recharge between adventures so caring for your home, plants and pets, is a beautiful exchange!

I relish new places and like to fully immerse myself in the experience of simply being there.

I'm an Aussie mum with two fully grown kids. After caring for my Dad for 3yrs I decided to do a very slow lap of Oz pulling my tiny, vintage teardrop caravan.

I left Cairns in Nov 2021, did outback Qld and Central Australia, travelled across the Nullabour and arrived in Perth at the end of 2023. The South-West was so beautiful I had to revisit. As a house-sitter, I'm typically a home-body and probably won't venture too far - which is great if your animals enjoy company, consistency and routine.

I've recently obtained further farm experience, I love the country and am familiar with cows, goats, horses and poultry. I'm level-headed and good at troubleshooting.

Charmaine was fantastic from the moment I met her. We met before the housesit began so she could visit the cats and she had already memorised their names by the time she got here. She sent me a picture of one of my cats sitting on her lap within the first couple of days of the housesit, which convinced me she was the right person as that cat has never sat on anyone else's lap except my own! When I got home, the house was as spotless as it was when I left, despite a bit of miscommunication ... MoreCharmaine was fantastic from the moment I met her. Charmaine was a great sitter for our pets, they were very well cared for. We would recommend her to take care of your pets and home.
Charmaine was kind and loving toward Poppy dog and took good care of my home.
Charmaine came the day we left and had to deal with a huge amount of info in a short period of time. We found her fun and sensible with a very "can do" attitude. We returned home to find everyone well and cared for. The farm often has a way of throwing curveballs out there that cannot be anticipated but Charm coped wonderfully with every aspect in a calm, thoughtful way. We are immensely grateful for her time and skill and also being just a level headed fantastic person! We wish her well ... We knew from the moment we arranged Charmaine to house sit that it would all go smoothly. Her communication was excellent, confirming the house sit before the date as we had arranged it so far in advance, She promptly responded to any correspondence we shared. When we returned home, the house was spotless, with bedding washed, floors vacuumed and our cat Bea wondering where she was when we walked through the door. Bea took to Charmaine from the moment she arrived, with photo updates to ... MoreWe knew from the moment we arranged Charmaine to house sit that it would all go smoothly.
