We’re Mario and Sarai, a friendly couple whose paths first crossed three years ago in beautiful New Zealand. Since then, we’ve shared countless adventures, and one big thing in common: a deep love for animals. 🐶🐱

We’re Mario and Sarai, a friendly couple whose paths first crossed three years ago in beautiful New Zealand. Since then, we’ve shared countless adventures, and one big thing in common: a deep love for animals. 🐶🐱

We truly enjoy spending time with pets of all kinds and know how much they become part of the family. We also understand that leaving them behind can be stressful, so our goal is to give your furry friends all the love, care, and attention they deserve while keeping your home safe and well looked after.

Because of our current lifestyle, we can’t have pets of our own right now, which makes house and pet sitting such a special opportunity for us! It lets us stay connected with animals while helping others travel with peace of mind.

We’re caring, reliable, and respectful, and we’ll make sure your pets feel comfortable and loved while you’re away.

We’ve cared for cats, dogs, birds, fish, rabbits, and chickens, and we’re also open to looking after reptiles or any other pets that need attention. We have experience administering medication and are happy to maintain your garden while you’re away, watering, mowing, etc.

Mario & Sarai did an absolute fabulous job looking after our house and most importantly our cats and dogs. We got regular photos / video updates on our pets (which was much appreciated), and our house was cleaner after the sit than when we left! Can highly recommend them.
Mario & Sarai were absolutely wonderful pet and house sitters. Their communication was excellent, with regular updates and lovely photos of Rosco and Gizmo every 3-4 days, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. They were extremely helpful when one of our dogs injured his cruciate ligament a few weeks before our trip, and the additional care required was no issue at all. We came home to very happy dogs, an exceptionally clean house, and even some delicious Chilean sweets they had ... MoreMario & Sarai were absolutely wonderful pet and house sitters. Mario and Sarai looked after my home and fur babies for 3 weeks and I can't express enough how happy I am with the care they took of my home and pets - oh and our Venus fly trap, Snappy!. They sent regular photos and communicated with me if they had any concerns (even about Snappy :-)). They were incredibly accommodating when my children needed to access their bedrooms while I was away, which they were really grateful for. My home was spotless when I returned and my fur babies happy and ... Lovely couple, took great care of my babies and left my house very clean and tidy.
Mario & Sarai looked after the house & cats wonderfully for 2 weeks. They provided great communication throughout including plenty of photos and the house looked essentially the same as the day we left. Thank you!
Mario and Sarai were a delight to deal with from start to finish. They were very accommodating and accepting when our dates changed even though it left them homeless for a while. Their communication was great, and their amazing photography skills has left me with a few gorgeous shots of our cats. They extended themselves beyond our initial agreement when our lawn decided to have a growth spurt, and were so easy going and accepting of everything we threw at them, which I am beyond grateful ... Mario and Sarai were fantastic, especially considering they sat for us over Christmas/New Year and there were bouts of hot weather. Our garden can be demanding for watering. Garden was in great shape on return. Our chickens were well looked after, fed and cleaned appropriately. Our cat seemed to quickly adjust and all became top friends. They had to split for a few days at the start and end of the sit due to other overlapping sitter arrangements - they managed that without any issue. The ... Perfect house Sitters. The house was lovely and clean when we got home. They kept us updated on our cats with photos while we were away... and they are some of the best photos we have now! Definitely recommend.
Sarai and Mario have been absolutely amazing housesitters. When we arrived home from our 3-week holiday, our cat Alfie was calm, and well looked after. Our house was super clean, and our things just as we left them when we returned. They provided regular updates with photos, and we could see that Alfie was getting lots of play & quality time. Mario & Sarai were fantastic. Communication was excellent and they send regular updated of my fur babies. My cats are both shy, but Mario and Sarai had them on their lap and sleeping with them by the end of the sit, quite remarkable. My house was clean and tidy and very weel looked after. My main concern are my cats, and they were very happy, well-loved and safe. I would definitely have Mario and Sarai sit for me again.
Mario and Sarai took good care of our house, garden, a cavoodle puppy and cat while we were overseas for 5 weeks. The animals were well looked after and any issues were communicated in a timely manner. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived home and the potted plants and garden were watered as instructed.
Mario kept in touch with us and provided care for our fur and feather babies. This included giving medication to our toy poodle twice daily. Our cat Teddy was also well cared for. Our lawns were mowed when we returned and indoor plants cared for. We did not communicate clearly enough about some of the outside pot plant care and a combination of very hot weather and lack of water led to a couple of losses. Overall Mario provided great care for our home and we would recommend them to others.
Mario and Sarai are beautiful people who took great care in looking after my cat Lilly and my home and garden. Lilly was very happy when I got home and the house was spotless. They had a very challenging assignment from us to look after our dogs while we were temporarily living in a home on a public bush walk which required a high amount of care to manage barking. We cannot be more grateful that communication was excellent. They were extremely reliable, and our dogs, which are like our family were very happy when we returned after a three week holiday. Mario and Sarai were incredible sitters. I have 4 cats, ranging in temperament from super smoochy to incredibly nervous. Mario and Sarai were able to bond with them all, cared for them, gave daily medication to two cats needing it, played with them and spent time with them. Mario and Sarai are a lovely couple, genuine and friendly and their communication was excellent before and during the Housesit. They visited a couple of times prior to our trip and walked our dog with us. We received updates via WhatsApp and we felt secure while we were away. We came home to a very happy dog and cat, a clean and tidy house with everything in order and a well maintained garden. We would be more than happy to leave our home and pets with them in future. Mario and Sarai looked after my house and garden for 1 month while I was away overseas. We had some hot weather while I was away so I was glad that I had someone at my home to water the garden. Both the house and Garden was clean and tidy as when I left the property. Mario was an excellent communicator while I was away. I highly recommend Mario ans Sarai as house sitters.
I was really lucky to find you guys , I couldn’t be more grateful. They took excellent care of my daughter dog, Luka, and my home while I was away. They are incredibly clean, respectful, and honest individuals. When I returned, everything was spotless, and they even left a beautiful photo of Luka as a thoughtful gesture. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and caring house sitters.
Mario and Sarai looked after our dogs, chickens and house while we were away. They have been outstanding keeping us inform on how our pets were doing. When we came back, the house was clean and tidy. I can't recommend them enough, they are a great couple!
Mario & Sarai did a beautiful job looking after Curtis and our home. Their communication was good, the house left clean and tidy and Curty happy. I can tell from Curtys behaviour that he was walked and played with. It’s nice to know that Mario & Sarai had a nice time with Curty, as Curty tells me he had a great time with them.
