We're fortunate enough to be able to travel and experience our beautiful country. We thrive on and treasure time spent in the outdoors, and sharing time with pets and all creatures, great and small.

Great opportunity to meet people, having made a number of good friends, get our pet fix and enjoy the privilege of looking after loved pets and a home, whilst soaking in new surroundings.

Having joined the ranks of empty nesters (and now have a dentist and a biosecurity officer in the family), we are semi-retirees from Cairns, now travelling long term. We would love the opportunity to look after your place and care for your beloved pets.

We love animals and being outdoors. Glen was a long term member of both the SES and Cairns Coastguard and we have both worked in remote locations over the years before becoming teachers. Linda also has experience as a wildlife carer and is an accredited snake handler. We are both fully vaxxed, non-smokers and with no pets (lost our last little one, an 11yo rescue Staffy a few years ago now).

Prior to joining AHS, we had done a number of farm and house sits (see some reviews below), including caretaking at a sheep stud farm and research stations, all involving varying degrees of pet/animal care, pool maintenance, general maintenance and repairs (fire pumps, solar arrays and inverters, fencing, grounds maintenance, water pumps), security checks etc. Glen has also used quad bikes, side-by-side vehicles, fire fighting and BA equipment.

Linda and Glen looked after our home, our garden and our gorgeous Border Collie while we were away on a holiday. It was the best decision we made! On our return our house was spotless, the garden thriving, and our Collie didn’t want to say bye to either Linda or Glen!
I would not hesitate to recommend them. They are conscientious, caring and most important looked after our place as if it was their own!

We had Glen and Linda look after our property in Coolup WA in 2022. Three dogs, two kangaroos, chooks, ducks and sheep, all looked after in addition to our house. Upon our return all animals were fine and the house was spotless. This was our first time having a house sitter in and we could not have asked for anyone better to be honest. Very happy with the way they looked after the place and both Linda and Glen were cracking people.
We definitely recommend them to anyone considering house sitters.

First and foremost, Glen and Linda were fantastic with our little Blossom. We had recently lost our old boy Rumpy, and without his steady and calm guidance, Blossom had a difficult time adjusting to people and life in general. Glen and Linda won Bloss over from the moment they arrived. They were so lovely, calm and confident that we finally felt we could go on holidays without fretting over her. It was wonderful to have Linda and Glen housesit for us. What lovely people! They looked after our chooks, ducks and keets with great attention to detail. They left the studio clean and tidy and were fabulous to communicate with. How lucky were we to meet them. I feel like we've made new friends. Highly recommended. Thank you Linda and Glen 🙏🥰

Glen and Linda arrived a couple of nights prior to us leaving on our trip, so we had a full day to show them the ropes. They were so helpful and showed that they were more than capable and diligent, being attentive to detail and asking questions. We did write down all the instructions, plus maps of the farm. We took them both around to show where the livestock were and how to run the dogs. They took great care of all our dogs, especially Loxie who had a little wound they found on her side & ... Glen & Linda were wonderful house sitters. Communication was clear and consistent from start to finish. They took superb care of the house and pets, including managing a minor vet emergency with great competence. The house was left clean and tidy. We would happily have them house sit again.
Glen & Linda were great communicators in the lead up to the house sit. We received a couple of messages and photos while we were away and our dog looked happy and cared for. Glen & Linda were wonderful!! We went away for a week and needed our two puppies cared for. One small and no problem, the other a handful (young Doberman) and they dealt with Meg's the Dob beautifully. House left perfect and plants cared for as well. Thank you so much Glen & Lin!! Glen & Linda were absolutely wonderful, the whole experience was pleasant and my cats were calm and happy when i returned. The house was beautiful when i arrived home. Very happy, wish i could have them stay again.

Glen and Lin were great. Took good care of our dog and cat and obviously liked them. They were very easygoing to deal with at every stage and left the house in a very clean and tidy state. Highly recommend.
We were very happy with Glen and Linda's care of our staff X Mindi. They walked her daily asrequested and provided great company for her. They were in touch with us as needed, and sent photos. We were very happy to know they were looking after our girl. When we returned from our holiday the house was clean and tidy. We would highly recommend Glen and Linda to anyone who would like their pup looked after with love and affection.

Glen & Linda were fantastic to deal with. They are both very friendly, and did a great job looking after our pets. They even stocked up our wood pile, ready for our return. I would highly recommend Glen & Linda if you need someone to sit for you.
Glen and Linda are a friendly personable couple who took care of our home and our 4 month old puppy. They were great at communicating with us giving us daily updates about our puppy Ruby On our return the house was spotless and Ruby obviously well looked after and happy We highly recommend them as house sitters and would gladly have them back again

Glen and Linda did a fantastic house sit for us. They were thorough with their communication when getting in touch and made sure to clrafiy what our property needed well in advance. This was a short sit of about a week but I can tell that they would be excellent choices for longer term sits given their capability of looking after properties. We returned home to a lovely clean home and a happy dog - they were great sitters.
We couldn't have wished for better people to care for our dogs and home. Glen and Linda were absolutely amazing. They spoiled our dogs with endless love and treated them like their own.
