Hi! We're Sarah (36), Chris (38), Max (6) and Zoe (4) and together we make a responsible, caring house-sitting team. We love exploring new places, meeting new furry friends, and treating every home with the respect and care we give our own.

I’ve (Sarah) grown up surrounded by animals -from family pets to farm animals (and even worked as a “Barnyard Specialist” at an American summer camp back in the day), caring for and teaching kids about a wide range of animals. Because of that, I’m confident and capable with everything from dogs and cats to chickens, goats, and small pets.

Respect for Your Home
As a full-time professional, I value reliability, cleanliness, and communication. I always ensure your home is left tidy, secure, and carefully maintained. I approach every stay with the courtesy I’d hope someone would show my own home.

Gentle, Responsible Children
My kids are well-behaved, calm, and used to being around animals. They understand house rules and are closely supervised at all times.

Genuine Animal Care
We’re an animal-loving household, and your pets will receive plenty of affection, playtime, and routine. I’m comfortable with:
• Dogs of all sizes
• Cats
• Chickens
• Small pets (rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, etc.)
• Basic farm animals

I’m also familiar with feeding routines, medication administration (non-specialist), and keeping animals on their normal schedule.

Clear, Consistent Communication
I understand how important it is to feel confident while you’re away. I provide updates, photos, or check-ins as often as you prefer.

Why I House Sit
House sitting allows our family to combine our love of animals with new experiences in a safe, structured way. We genuinely enjoy being helpful, and it’s a privilege to care for someone else’s home and pets.

What We’re Looking For
We’re best suited to homes that are comfortable hosting a small family. We’re flexible with dates around school holidays and long weekends, and open to both short and longer stays. Sometimes due to our work, there may only be one of us (Chris or Sarah) but we'll let you know of course.
We do have our own Cavoodle dog, so that’s always a consideration for us too (we leave him at home) when offering our services and the length of stay.

I have extensive experience caring for a wide range of animals, from beloved family pets to full barnyard crews. I’ve looked after cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, chickens and ducks, as well as larger animals including sheep, goats, lambs, calves, alpacas, geese and pigs.

I’ve looked after cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, chickens and ducks, as well as larger animals including sheep, goats, lambs, calves, alpacas, geese and pigs.

My background as a Barnyard Specialist at an American summer camp gave me hands-on experience with feeding routines, daily care, basic health checks and keeping animals calm, safe and well-handled. Whether it’s cuddly indoor pets or confident farm animals, I’m comfortable, capable and genuinely enjoy giving each animal the attention and reassurance they need while their owners are away.

We live on the border of ACT and NSW.
Unless it is a long stay we try to keep driving time to under 5 hours.
Availability is limited throughout the school terms on weekdays as school for our children is important to us.

A lovely family and great house sitters! Sarah was easy to communicate with leading up to the house sit and kept us updated while we were away, including regular pics of the dogs. Our chickens and dogs were well cared for and the house was clean and tidy when we arrived home, even stocking up our fridge for us. We would highly recommend Sarah, Max and Zoe to anyone else and would gladly have them back again!
Sarah looked after our home and pets for 6 nights while we were away and was awesome. From the beginning with our communication we got a good feeling about her. Her reviews we’re also 5* We also had a meet & great prior to the housesit which really put our minds at easing knowing our home and fur babies (2 dogs & 2 goats) would be well taken care of. Thank you so much for the regular updates Sarah & for leaving our home spotless. We are super grateful & hope you had a wonderful stay
Sarah and Chris and family were our first house sitters ever, and it was an excellent experience for us. They were very respectful of our possessions and left the house immaculate. The dogs were happy when we got home; our escapee month old chicks were contained too, so all was well. Highly recommend the family with their beautifully behaved children for future sits.
Sarah & Chris were fantastic house/dog sitters. Communication was great throughout, which gave us piece of mind. Our pup was happy and content when we returned home, and the house was well looked after. Would happily recommend and use again!
