BACKGROUND:

✅Prior to joining Aussie House Sitters in early 2023, I established what has since become a trusted brand in 'Craig's House Sitting' (dot com) back in 2016 after returning from a UK adventure working and "workawaying' (working 25 hours a week for accommodation and food basically) throughout 2015.

✅During this period of time I have collected dozens of REAL references and testimonials (viewable on my website) to demonstrate how I work with and for people, and how I look after their pets and properties.

You get to minimise public exposure to your property = reducing security risk/s.

I cannot recommend Craig any higher. He has been house sitting for us since 2016 at least 6 sits. Including at my Mother's looking after her elderly dog. This sit was 4 weeks. I have all trust for Craig to look after our property. He is professional, clean and tidy, friendly and punctual. The house, plants and animals all in excellent condition. Thanks Jackie for taking the time to thoughtfully detail our previous 9 years of house and pet sitting history together, and for working in around my availability calendar booking for this last stay.
My biggest "want" was someone who would care for our dog. We only adopted Indi last July as a rescue. She was attached to me, so I felt guilty leaving her with an unknown male. After 13 weeks, we came home to a happy border collie with the most beautiful healthy coat. Craig worked hard to bond with her and spent 90% of his time here. He noted she was injured, and although he exercised her, there was no ball play to allow for healing. Our house was immaculate on returning! Craig treated our ... He lived gently in our home, he watered our garden daily, collected the mail among other things and most importantly looked after our Labradore, following his routine with feeding and exercise. House and pet sitting is about understanding risk management and it's about ensuring all involved (pets and people) are taken into consideration. It's not rocket science of course, but it does require switched on people who understand the accountability and responsibility that comes with looking after peoples property and their pets, and the sensitivity, the questioning, and the listening required to increase the probability of a good stay for all. We had Craig look after our two adult dogs and our 5 month old puppy, and we couldn't be happier with the care Craig provided. Managing one puppy can be a handful, let alone two large size adult dogs. Craig included a list of the training he did with our pup and we have continued with Craig's awesome puppy training techniques. We not only arrived home with a much better behaved puppy, but also, three happy, calm. and clearly well cared for pooches when we returned. Craig also gave daily ... Craig has just completed a second house sit for us, this time of 8 weeks duration. We again highly recommend Craig. He is easy to communicate with and provided weekly updates to keep us worry free. He was very understanding of our dog, Ruff’s needs, as we had recently lost our Labrador and Ruff’s long time companion. Ruff was happy and healthy on our return. I would definitely recommend Craig as a house and pet sitter. Darcy was well looked after, and walked regularly . He also gave her her medication. Craig was very easy to communicate with before and during his stay. He sent weekly updates on how things were going, which was very important for me. Craig came along to meet Darcy and they got on well. He was meticulous in his preparation for looking after Darcy and the house. The house was immaculate and Craig had spent some time raking up ... Craig took great care of the house and dogs. There were some special needs with the dogs and he communicated well and was very responsive to their needs. They seemed very relaxed with him. The house was spotless when I returned. I definitely recommend Craig as a house and pet sitter.

We needed a house sitter at very short notice and were very lucky to quickly find Craig. He was a great house sitter- extremely professional and organised. He took great care of our house and pets. Our dog was very happy when we returned home- she'd clearly had plenty of exercise and company in our absence. We would not hesitate to have Craig house sit for us again and would recommend him to anyone looking for a short or long term house sitter.
Craig was a great house sitter. Highly organised, clear communicator, and respectful of privacy. His communication was clear, punctual, asked detailed questions regarding the running of the house, which gave me peace of mind. I felt comfortable having him there and when I returned the house was in perfect order. I highly recommend him.

Craig is a fabulous house and pet sitter. We would highly recommend him to everyone. Aussie house sitters wouldn’t let us change the dates but Craig actually house and pet sat for 3 weeks. He was able to do a pre house sit visit which was very helpful. Craig arrived and departed at the times he arranged with us. He provided us with detailed weekly updates and was able to be contacted at all times. Our home was unbelievably clean upon our return, actually looked cleaner than when we left! ... Craig is a wonderful house sitter. He is highly organised, a clear communicator, transparent and respectful of privacy. His minimalist approach to life made for a quick landing and light touch in the home. His communication with us when we were away was punctual, clear and had the right about of detail for decision-making and peace of mind. I'm so grateful to Craig for looking after our house and cat Tully for the 3 nights we were away. Craig is a very clear communicator and very thorough in his approach to house and pet sitting. I felt completely comfortable with him and could trust that he had understood what was required. The house was clean and tidy on our return and the cat was happy! Craig is super friendly and personable and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a house sit.

Ir was a pleasure having Craig house sit for me for nealy 2 weeks. He kept me updated and at a scheduled visit to the Vet with Winston after I got back home, the comment was how well he looked. Certainly recommend Craig to anyone looking for a housesitter in the future.

We were impressed with the professionalism with which Craig approached the housesit. We felt he would be reliable, resourceful and conscientious. We were not disappointed!
