I love house sitting because it gives me a chance to enjoy a change of scenery while caring for pets and maintaining a peaceful, well-kept home. It’s a lovely way to reset, support others, and create a calm, tidy space—something I genuinely enjoy.

Hi there! I live on my parents' beautiful acreage in the Sunshine Coast hinterland and occasionally love creating a little space from my day-to-day by exploring new environments.

People often call me a “neat freak” (in the best way!). In fact, one of my favourite past jobs was flipping people’s kitchens and pantries—think beautifully labeled glass jars, spices from A to Z, and everything in its place. Don’t worry, I won’t reorganise your kitchen—but that should give you an idea of the level of organisation and cleanliness I naturally maintain.

I thrive in tidy, calm, and well-kept spaces, so I’m ideally looking for homes that reflect that vibe. If you’re someone who takes pride in your home, chances are we’ll be a great match—I’ll treat your space like my own, with care, respect, and attention to detail.

Pet care

I grew up on a small hobby farm with livestock, dogs, chickens, sheep, and more, so I’m very comfortable around animals. My house sits have included caring for all of the above.

My parents have a small hobby farm with sheep, chickens, and both dairy and beef cows. While I didn’t always have the time to be heavily involved due to past work commitments, I’m comfortable around these animals, and I can milk a cow and help round up sheep when needed!"

Rachel was just amazing and we came home to a house that was spic and span. Her care of Callie (our cat, which was our priority) was excellent. She had a lovely rapport with her and had her sitting on her lap of an evening. Rachel kept us updated with photos over the five weeks we were away and we are sure Callie was happy staying in her familiar environment than the restriction of a caravan.. I'm sure Callie will miss her new friend. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Rachel and ... MoreRachel was just amazing and we came home to a house that was spic and span. We can’t say enough to anyone who will listen about how wonderful Rachel was in taking care of our property, home and our animals (chickens, sheep and Flynn 🐕). There were a few health issues with some of our mob while we were away and Rachel managed it all with her exceptional skills, practical common sense and great communication with us on the other side of the world. She even helped the neighbouring farmers with their wandering stock! We felt our wee farm and animals were in excellent ...
