Hi there We are a semi retired non-smoking couple who love travelling and seeing new areas. We are both animal lovers and often travel with our dog Sally.

favoriteWhy we love house sitting

House sitting gives us the opportunity to explore different areas and support people who want to go away but also want to make sure their homes and pets are in safe loving hands.

Both of us have always owned pets (dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, birds) and have cherished them as part of the family. We are reliable and conscientious but also warm and fun loving. We live in FNQ and travel regularly to visit our daughters and their family further south.
With more time and freedom on our hands we are looking forward to more adventures and getting to know different areas of our beautiful country. We mostly travel together and have our dog Sally a collie cross with us. ... We are respectful of other people's spaces and property and are mindful of leaving places clean and well cared for.

Pet care

We have successfully looked after pets and homes for family and friends many times. Relative newbies to this site as sitters we have loved looking after people's furry and feathered friends to allow them peace of mind when they travel. Relative newbies to this site as sitters we have loved looking after people's furry and feathered friends to allow them peace of mind when they travel. Full disclosure of workload and potential difficulties marred one sit but it was a learning curve for us and we will take that lesson into future sits. We look forward to many more opportunities to care for someone's home and pets so they have peace of mind on their travels. We will do this both together with our dog and sometimes me as a solo.

Jenny is a wonderful communicator and we were pleased to share updates😊 We came home to a very happy dog and all was perfect in our house & garden. Beautiful homemade treats left as well so many thanks for your care and interest in Murphy and in our patch Jenny🌷
Jenny was amazing and looked after our puppies with love. You could tell they were happy with her. She left the house perfectly clean. Would definitely use Jenny again if she was available.
Jenny & Terry came to our house for a week long sit. They arrived earlier when I asked which was a huge help. I showed them the animals & what needed to be done. They assured me the workload was reasonable & they were happy. We arrived home to a beautiful clean house & happy animals. We were very happy with everything. Their dog Sally is an absolute delight & the best behaved girl!! My only criticism is that communication was lacking which resulted in Jenny & Terry leaving a day early ... I would also say that house sits with not too many animals would be ideal as they did get overwhelmed with the amount of animals we had (specifically farm animals). Overall our place and animals were in great hands & we would definitely recommend Jenny & Terry.

Thanks Taylah yes we have decided that too many animals is probably not for us. I would like to clarify that we did make sure the animals were looked after by someone reliable the day we left. Your house was great to stay in and we would recommend it to anyone.
