Hi Everyone,

Our names are Kelly and David from Bundaberg. We are experienced house sitters looking to find short term housesits. We feel comfortable looking after 1-2 small well-behaved doggies for 2 -7 days in the BARGARA & surrounding beach areas as we really like sits out at the beach......or 4 -7 days in HERVEY BAY/Agnes Water/1770 areas. (Only areas that are no further than 2 hours from Bundaberg)

Our names are Kelly and David from Bundaberg. We are experienced house sitters looking to find short term housesits. We feel comfortable looking after 1-2 small well-behaved doggies for 2 -7 days in the BARGARA & surrounding beach areas as we really like sits out at the beach......or 4 -7 days in HERVEY BAY/Agnes Water/1770 areas. (Only areas that are no further than 2 hours from Bundaberg)

We have a home that we need to maintain as well with plants, garden, lawn etc so that is why we prefer sits up to 7 day sits. We prefer not to do back to back sits because of this.

Unfortunately we are unable to look after cats as David is allergic to cat fur.

We started house and pet sitting in September 2022 (4 yrs next month) and have enjoyed all our sits. We have done over 60 sits now looking after the most beautiful doggies. And many of them have been repeat sits.

Your doggies will be looked after in every aspect while in our hands. We are very serious when taking on this role so will follow the routines given by you, such as meals, walking, playing, sleeping arrangements, commands.

We are a very tidy couple, reliable and security minded people, focussed on providing you with peace of mind that your home is in good safe hands, and your pet/s are loved and cherished while you are away.

We are very passionate about caring for your doggies creating a special bond with them.....and normally consider ourselves their "Aunty and Uncle" after the sit !!

Honestly, we are getting so many enquiries for house sits so unfortunately we can't say yes to all of them.
Our calendar is already full for Sept and Oct this year.

Our background......we came to Bundaberg in 2004 and opened a purpose-built Bed and Breakfast in which we operated for 9 years.... which we were awarded a 4.5 star rating from AAA Tourism. In that time, we learnt the importance of having everything perfect for our guests.... down to the little details of a soft pillow, a brewed coffee or chocolate in the rooms! We maintained a high standard with the cleaning of our rooms, lawns, gardens, orchard, pool etc.

Now that we are retired, we would like to help couples or singles to have a short holiday/break away and look after their valued doggies and properties. During a house sit we will be at home most of the day and definitely overnight to look after your beloved doggies.

David enjoys spending time outdoors and is a real handy man when it comes to fixing something around the house.

We are real homebody's and love to cook healthy meals and enjoy a quiet lifestyle. We absolutely love doggies and enjoy our daily walks.

Kelly and David looked after our doggies again. The doggies just love both of them. We could tell by the photos and videos of the dogs playing that our dogs were very content and happy. Communication was excellent. We came home to a spotless house. There was no evidence that anyone had been there. Kelly and David pay a lot of attention to detail and do exactly as asked with looking after our dogs. This certainly will not be the last sit. Thank you both.

Kelly and David have always been wonderful when they have been at our place to house sit for us. They are very caring and kind to our two poodles who are always settled and calm when we return. This makes me feel that the puppies have received lots of love and cuddles while we are away. The photod that have been sent to us also show this. Our house was immaculate as always. We always feel so comfortable and settled when Kelly and David are at our place. Kelly and David's communication with us ... This is the second time Kelly and David have dog/house sat for us. We were very impressed the first time and we weren't disappointed this time either. Our doggies love them. The doggies were very relaxed and had play time which indicates to us the dogs were very comfortable with Kelly and David. We had lots of updates and photos while we were away. Our house was absolutely spotless when we returned. There was no evidence Kelly and David had even been there. We will definately have Kelly ... We had a meet and greet with Kelly and David a while ago. Our doggies are very nervous and anxious dogs. At the meet and greet our dogs seemed relaxed and interacted well with Kelly and David. We received plenty of photos showing how happy the dogs were. Communication was great. We came home to a spotless house and 2 happy dogs. Thanks guys. Dogs are looking forward to your next visit in May.

Wow, I couldn’t be happier. First time leaving my precious fur baby, Gizmo, and my home. Kelly and David absolutely put my mind at ease by meeting us before my travel, offering some helpful advice especially about the welcome pack template, as well as staying in regular contact. While I was away I received some lovely photos of Gizmo having fun with David as well as nestling in the lap of Kelly. Gizmo certainly wasn’t showing any signs of stress or anxiety that’s for sure. Kelly and David are repeat sitters for us. They are more than 'HouseSitters' they have become good friends. They are very proffessional with their business dealings, and always want to make sure everything is covered and done right. Hi had Kelly care for our 2 poodles for 7 days. Her communication before, during and after was excellent. She made a special trip to come and meet us and the puppies. This was the first time we met and was the start of a wonderful experience. Kelly followed our routine and treated the puppies as her own. Throughout our holidays we recieved photos and communication about how everything was going. When we arrived home the house was extremely clean and tidy and the puppies were very calm and ... It felt like we have known Kelly and David for sometime. They were both warm welcoming and very friendly. Communication was excellent!! Our little dog, who's deaf and nearly blind received such wonderful care and so much love and attention from them, we're sure she wanted them to stay forever! Their communication with us began with a meeting beforehand, to learn about our dog's requirements and to discuss any specific needs we had for the care of our home during their 8 night house sit. After that, we received regular messages and updates, including many photos of our dog, who ... MoreWe couldn't recommend Kelly and David more highly! Our little dog, who's deaf and nearly blind received such wonderful care and so much love and attention from them, we're sure she wanted them to stay forever! Their communication with us began with a meeting beforehand, to learn about our dog's requirements and to discuss any specific needs we had for the care of our home during their 8 night house sit. After that, we received regular messages and updates, including many photos of our dog, who was clearly extremely happy to be in their care! Our home was immaculate, with David going above and beyond, sweeping our dirty driveway after a massive storm, and attending to our front screen door which wasn't closing properly. We are so grateful and will definitely rely on them again if needed!

Kelly & David are excellent house sitters. Communication is great, they really care about my dogs and leave my home immaculate. This is the third time I have had them house sit and would happily choose them again.
Arrived home to find our home clean and tidy. Our two dogs very happy. Communication appears to be avoided since arriving home & in not sure why.

David & Kelly went above and beyond in the care of my 2 dogs and my house and yard during their 3 day stay, even whipper snipped for me!! They sent daily updates of how the dogs were doing and were loving and affectionate to them.
Kelly and David are extremely lovely and excellent pet and house sitters. They were able to accommodate us at very short notice and also agreed to stay longer due to unforeseen circumstances. Extremely highly recommended. I can't thank them enough.
