My name is Toni (she/her) and I'm a single, mature, responsible, 42 year old introverted female who is a reasonably fit & healthy non-smoker/vaper. I have been house sitting in Melbourne since May 2022, and in that time I've done over 80 house sits now, where I have a combined total of 60 five star reviews. I house sit across 3 different house sitting sites, with a lot of those house sits being repetitive sits for my lovely regulars.

Victorian born and bred, I decided to move back to Melbourne after finishing my 10 year mining career in pursuit of having more freedom around my work/home life. This ultimately led me to making a career change, with putting my head back down in the books to study. It's safe to say, it's been a while!

I have spent most of my adult life living in Western Australia, working in isolated areas, so it's great to be back in Victoria again living in Melbourne starting a fresh new chapter. House sitting allows me the freedom to explore more of Melbourne, with the added bonus of enjoying some furry company whilst I study. Prior to my mining career, I used to house and pet sit for all the local police officers and highway patrol on the Nullarbor in remote WA for up to 2 or 3 months at a time. This was such a great experience, and I got to spend a lot of time with their beloved pets that I just adored!

I really enjoy going on adventures and exploring this beautiful big city. When I'm not with your beloved furry pets 99% of the time, in the winter, I love walking the city streets with a coffee, admiring the incredible architecture around the city, discovering different lane ways, restaurants, cafes and the occasional rooftop bar. I love seeing live shows, concerts, productions, attending art gallery exhibitions... anything & everything art related! I really love to cook, and I enjoy the occasional gaming here & there. In the summer, I love swimming in local waterholes, going on the occasional hike, camping with friends when I've got a gap in my house sitting... anything fitness related really. I also travel interstate regularly to visit family and spend time with my young niece and nephew as often as I can. I have also started trying to learn how to speak German, which has been a challenge! I definitely need more practise, lol. "Man kann ja hoffen."

I am an extremely clean, trustworthy, reliable, friendly and thoughtful individual who takes great pride and care of your home, and gives lots of love and affection to your beloved animals! I treat your homes, your belongings, and most importantly, your pets, as if they were my own. This also includes being very respectful and thoughtful of your neighbours, and community in general. I am very mindful too, and respectful in regards to utility usage, as I understand the pressures and concerns associated with the rising costs of living. I'm a one light on at night only kinda gal!

Acceptance and respectfulness of diversity and inclusion, and people's privacy in general, is of extreme importance to me. I have quite a few regulars (with whom I happily call my good friends) that I repeatedly house sit for, which is so unbelievably rewarding! Building, and keeping that trust is extremely important to me. I'm even house sitting for their friends & family now too, which is fantastic! Their recommendations mean the world to me. I really love that I get the opportunity to repeatedly see their beloved pets. Spending time with them again makes me so happy, and they're happy, too. which really strengthens our bond. I absolutely adore all of them!

I have my own car, references and a current police clearance. I also provide a copy of my driver's licence and car rego, and can provide proof of my Covid 19 vaccinations if this is a concern for anyone.

Also too, I'm currently sitting across 3 different house sitting sites. If my availability calendar is coming up as unavailable on your selected dates, please do reach out regardless though as I sometimes have last minute cancellations from owners due to sickness, or their travel plans have changed in general. These things happen. Sometimes both our dates might just line up perfectly, even if it is last minute! This was the second time Toni looked after our house and, most importantly, our cats, and we couldn’t be happier with her. Toni clearly enjoys spending time with the cats and we received regular updates on how they were doing. We also returned to a very clean house, including fresh bedding, and washed towels. I would not hesitate to recommend Toni as a house and pet sitter.

Toni is the best housesitter we have ever had! I feel completely relaxed on holiday knowing our little senior dog is completely loved and cared for. And it is clear the our dog has formed a bond with Toni which is quite something as this has never happened before. Toni is an organised and tidy person, and the apartment was well cared. I highly recommend Toni as a house sitter and we hope she will always return to take care of our little dog for our future trips away.

Toni took wonderful care of our two cats and our home during her stay. The place was spotless on our return and the cats were happy & healthy. Toni is a pleasure to deal with. She is open and warm, and is a great communicator. Toni sent regular updates on the cats and I felt comfortable that they were being well cared for while we were away. As a Senior lady who lives with my 3 beloved Pomeranians - leaving them in the care of a stranger was a bit daunting to me UNTIL I met Toni firstly on a meet and greet. She calmed my anxiousness and my fur babies took to her immediately. Not only did she send me photos and a video while I was away but I came home to 3 very happy fur babies and even fresh milk for me. Toni was incredibly responsive and communicative before and during her stay. We had a meet and greet beforehand and Toni kept me updated regularly during her stay. The house was immaculate when I got home and the kitties were incredibly relaxed :)

Toni was the best of the best house sitter. From the genuine care and connection with our spoilt dog, to her communication with us, respecting our guidance notes for the home, and leaving our home spotless, Toni was simply brilliant. She even made sure we had fresh milk for a cup of tea when we arrived home. We highly recommend Toni!

Toni is simply 'the best'. Superb communication prior to the stay and for the 6 weeks we were away. Our house was spotless when we returned and our precious little garden looked better than before we left. Thanks Toni, we look forward to staying in touch :)

Having an anxious cat always causes my own anxiety when travelling, but from day one, my anxious little girl, Billy, started to befriend Toni. Billy was calm and happy, and her confidence increased each day. The daily updates were so heartwarming to receive! Such a pleasure to have Toni look after our girls and place while we're away. She went above and beyond with police and ID checks. Both cats warmed to her which says so much. Came home to a clean house, we'd be delighted to have her stay again.
We had to return home before the sit was established due to a serious injury O/S. Toni went beyond what we expected. The house was a delight to walk into and the garden and pathways looked like they had been vacuumed. We are so thankful we had Toni as our sitter as she made a very difficult time that much easier. Toni was a fantastic sitter. She took great care of our two maremmas and livestock and left the house spotless. She kept in touch on the way, arrived on time and kept in touch while we were away. Highly recommended and I hope we can have Toni look after our place again.
Toni is a fabulous house-sitter. She's a great communicator, as well as being trustworthy, reliable and organised. There was an unexpected event that occurred on the day we left and she was marvellous in keeping in touch and adapting to the new circumstances. She left our house very clean, which was great to come home to. She is highly recommended! We'd love to have her sit for us again.
We are SO happy with Toni who came and looked after our 2x cats. They were very settled and happy when we came back, which says a lot because one is skiddish and the other is very attached to me. Toni also kept in touch about the cats while we were away, and the apartment was sparkling upon our return. I couldn't recommend Toni highly enough! :)

Toni took fantastic care of my two cats, they loved her. She was very patient with my (very!) stubborn cat, and managed to win her in the first week! Toni really gave us peace of mind to enjoy our trip. She is a great person, easy to communicate with and loves animals. The house was in an immaculate state when we got back. This was our second house sit with Toni. She is fantastic and one of the best house sitters we've had over the last few years. She's friendly, caring and an excellent communicator. Toni took amazing care of our two kitties, bonding with both of them. We returned home to a spotlessly clean and tidy house once again and she even left fresh milk in the fridge for us. Highly recommend Toni for a house sit and we'll definitely be having her back again if our dates line up!
After introducing Aussie Housesitters to my brother to accommodate his need for a housesitter to care for his beloved Miss Daisy, Toni left him speechless. He arrived home to a house smelling and looking like a dream. Although Miss Daisy was clearly happy to see him, he was relieved to see she had been cared for to his expectations. I would highly recommend Toni for a house sit. She came to our house for a visit prior to stay and the animals all loved her from her arrival. The Kelpie didn't even bark, and one of our cats sat on her lap. She was thoughtful , trustworthy, reliable, and friendly. Easy going, great communication. She took great care of our beloved animals which was awesome considering we have 2 dogs and 2 cats. Thanks heaps Toni

Toni was an excellent sitter. She came well out of her way to meet us and the cats before the sit, communication was great while we were away including photos of our pets, and when we returned it was to a sparkling clean house. She had also remade the bed and specifically bought us the milk we usually get so we had some fresh when we returned home. Highly recommend Toni!
Toni was a dream. She took excellent care of my cat while I was away, watered the plants, and left the place perfectly clean and organised - even washed the linens and re-made the bed the day she left. She was also flexible with her dates, which I am very grateful for. I would happily have Toni sit for me again without hesitation, and recommend her to anyone in need of a caring and attentive sitter.
Toni did an excellent job house sitting, caring for my cat Rose and watering my garden while I was away. She kept me updated about how Rose was getting on, and I returned to a clean house and a happy cat. She even offered to pick up essentials for me if I needed them. I highly recommend Toni for anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy house sitter and would not hesitate to ask her to sit for me if our calendars matched up again.
Toni was absolutely fantastic for our housesit! From the beginning communication was great and thorough. While we were away we got little updates to show my anxious cat was at ease and things were going smoothly. Friendly, reliable house sitter, highly recommended. Toni was fantastic taking wonderful care of our Burmese cats for a week. Our timid Emma took a liking to her and snuggled up right away. She's friendly, trustworthy and a great communicator. We returned home to a spotless house and very happy cats!

Toni came and looked after our 13 yo kitten Clara for a month while we were away. Right from the start, Toni was down to earth and honest and followed through on everything she said. Toni gave us regular updates while we were away and we could see from the videos she sent that Clara loved her! We came back to a happy cat, and a clean and tidy house and outdoor area, with our (too) many plants also well taken care of.
