We are very experienced housesitters who began looking after homes and pets in 2019. Our experience with pets includes dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, chickens, and even sheep, alpacas & spiny leaf insects! As of January 2026, we've completed 50 housesits (18 were return visits) in three countries, looked after 44 different cats (including multi-cat households) and 14 different dogs, small and large.

We often create videos of the pets for our clients. If you contact us, we'll provide links to these videos, the reviews on our Facebook page and our 5-star rating for garden maintenance work on Airtasker. Howie even earned the title of WA's Top Tasker 2021. We also have police clearances and are happy to provide them on request.

We are often travelling in our Transit campervan and love to take on occasional housesitting opportunities. We're always looking for the chance to spend time with furry friends, take a break from being on the road and recuperate after a few weeks of hiking or travel. It's useful for us to catch up on work and hobbies for a while as Howie often has video editing work to do, while Kath is working on our family tree. We work at festivals and events and coordinate this with our travels.

Peace of mind is key for everyone involved in housesitting, and good communication is essential. We like to take the time to meet with house & pet owners before housesits. Video calls are great if an in-person meeting is not possible. We don't promise anything that we can't deliver. That means that we won't claim expertise that we don't have, and we'll be upfront about any other commitments we have that might affect your housesit.

We promise that you won't come home to any nasty surprises. We leave homes at least as clean as we find them and always do our best to avoid problems, but if anything comes up, we'll let you know and play our part in resolving it. We never allow small issues to become big complications and do our best to ensure a happy experience for all the animals and humans involved!

Kath and Howie were absolutely fabulous right from the start. They have amazing communication and are extremely thorough in ensuring they have all the information required to look after my 2 cats, house and garden. I felt completely at ease knowing my home and pets were in such capable hands. They sent regular photos and updates throughout their stay, which was so lovely to receive while I was away. I can recommend Kath and Howie to anyone needing a pet/housesitter. They are two lovely humans and it was wonderful going away on holiday and being able to relax knowing our feline kids were in good hands. It was easy to communicate with them, and as they are such experienced housesitters, they think of everything, even some of the little things you might forget about! The mere fact that even our “scared of-all-humans-except-my-owner” boy eventually came out of his hiding spot and hung around ... Kath and Howie were fantastic. From my first view of their profile I knew they were cat people but they honestly outdid my expectations. Our more cautious cat was sleeping with them and making biscuits in their laps a week in, I couldn’t believe it. Communication was easy and I appreciated the internet call and in person meet up before confirming the sit. We got regular updates and beautiful photos. The house was spotless and sheets and towels were washed on our return, and our babies were ... MoreKath and Howie were fantastic. Kath and Howie were excellent sitters. They took such good care of my home and cats. I can't thank them enough. House was very clean when I got home, cats were happy and well taken care of. Communication was good throughout the time. Thanks again and would recommend them both and would use them again.
When we left for a 4 week holiday we knew that Morris our beagle and our house would be in the best hands. Kath and Howie went the extra mile when looking after Morris who can be anxious, taking him with them on visits, exploring new places and walking him twice a day. The house on our return was immaculate, the gardens were all spotless, and there was f a cooked meal in the fridge on our return in case we were hungry after the long journey, We had regular updates and photos from them whilst ... Kath and Howie cared beautifully for my house, garden, birds and puppy. Can't recommend them enough! Everything was clean and tidy when we got home. Communication was excellent and received a bonus video of the puppy! Thanks guys.
Kath and Howie where amazing with our big fella Monty can't ask for any better carers and house sitters than them.They went above and beyond with videos and photos of of him while we where away in Bali and even created a little mini movie of him once we got back which was lovely.They took care of the house and it's was spotless once we arrived home, they even stocked our fridge with food like milk and a few vegetables etc once we got home which was not expected but very much appreciated.Best ... Kath and Howie are true professionals. Out house was immaculate. Our fur baby was not stressed and absolutely looked after perfectly. I would not hesitate to use this wonderful couple again . Their communication skills with both animal and human are fantastic
Kath and Howie ended up sitting for us on the Anzac Day weekend as they were already booked for the Easter weekend. They were great fun and treated our cat, Cracker like a little star. He loved them. That were great at communicating and looked after the house and garden beautifully. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.
