Hi we're Carol & Shirl.
We are both retired housekeepers so we will keep your home lovely and clean..
We will take very good care of your fur babies and take them for walks or give them cuddles if thats what they like. Giving medications if needed for the fur babies is no issue either as we've had many who have had to have them. We have successfully completed many, many housesits now since June/July 2019, Most being in QLD all with different time lengths of stay..

We've looked after dogs, cats, ducks and ducklings, chickens, newly hatched chicks, Avery's full of lovebirds, a huge hairy pig plus 1 x sheep.
We've also learnt how to look after swimming pools (if instructions are left, even better). How to use ride on mowers as well. We both look forward to meeting up with lovely people like yourselves.
I (Carol) used to work at Allity Aged Care In Lilydale Vic ( now Bolton Clarke) as a house keeper & PCA for 5 years until September 2019, (Semi retired to assist my friend and to travel) I hold a yellow NDIS/Aged care card.
Shirl (Shirley) worked as a house keeper many moons ago on Magnetic Island in QLD, but she last worked in a factory for 15 yrs, where she got sick after having a heart attack and has c.o.p.d. but she is still able to do most things.
We started to travel around Australia with our car and caravan in 2019 (Which we still have) exploring areas as we go, and we thought that house and pet sitting would be a great way to see Australia as well and to look after peoples homes and fur babies.
Somehow though we've so far managed to stick around the Bundaberg/Bargara and surrounding Widebay areas like Hervey Bay due to many housesits there, We often get recommended and gain sits by word and mouth now from other folk that we have cared for their homes and fur babies. It's been wonderful..
We both look forward to house sitting your home and fur babies (if you have any) and to keep both your home clean and babies secure whilst you are away.
We are ourselves loving Mothers to 3 very grown up Girls and they have blessed us with 7 beautiful grandchildren (That's how we both think of each other's kiddies) ranging from a 22 yr old to a 5 year old.
Our home town was in the Yarra Valley in Victoria of which both our families still live.
We have had and still have repeat House Sits in Bundaberg, Bargara and Hervey Bay areas.
We've been residing around Bargara & Bundaberg and the Wide Bay since March 2020 basically, and have house sat for friends that we've made in the area as well as for many other couples on the housesitting sites. it's been great.
We are now Queenslanders after changing our drivers licences and loving this beautiful state. We try to get back to Victoria every two years or more if needed plus FaceTime them too, to see our families and up to Atherton Tablelands too every second year. We also gain housesits up there too before we go!
We have several house sits to complete this year starting 24th February (2026) here in the Wide Bay plus others towards Hervey Bay and Oakhurst QLD then back to Bundy area!
If you look at our Calendar on the site, you'll see the dates we are booked for already in 2026 plus others for 2027 now too.
We are both clean and tidy and house proud and trustworthy.
We'll leave your home as you leave it with us.
We do have references. Not all on here, but on another site too, we have paper ones as well, but we can also supply phone numbers for verbal references if you need.
We also house sat for a few people whilst in Victoria too. All over the place. From Ararat the Grampians area through to Gippsland, Wonthaggi and the Yarra Valley.
We do ask of you though a couple of housekeeping requests from us.
Could you please make sure your toaster & Air fryer are clean plus the lint holder in your washing machine as well please. (We've certainly had some doozies where clients haven't cleaned them before we get there and they have been not so nice! )
We don't ask for payment as some may do, as we utilise your home and utilities including internet, but we certainly and graciously receive Thank you gifts as many have left for us previously!
We both look forward to helping you out some day soon.
We have split ourselves up in the past but for the rest of this year and from the start of 2027 this will no longer be the case, as It doubles our food & Fuel costs so it's no longer viable for us to do this unfortunately.
So please look at the dates or enquire for 2027 and we can send you our dates of availability.

Carol and Shirl have been amazing, we had 2 prior meet and greets which put our minds at ease.We received confirmation upon arrival.Due to us being overseas it limited communication but Carol had Whatsapp which was great. We got a weekly message and a couple little pictures to let us know everything was going ok at home which was lovely to receive. We have a few animals that had medications which both Shirl and Carol had no issues with dealing with daily. They left the house clean and tidy on ... We would not hesitate to let Carol & Shirl look after our home again. They were great! Everything was in order when we arrived back and the animals were happy!

Carol & Shirl looked after our house for just over 2 weeks in March 2023 and we cannot speak highly enough about the care they took of the house and gardens including veggie patch and pool. Our fur babies were so well cared for and were absolutely spoilt. Communication was excellent and we had no concerns about things at home. We would have no hesitation in recommending them and would have total peace of mind if they were able to sit for us at a future date. If you would like further ... Carol and Shirl are 5 star house sitters all the way! We have just returned from what feels like around the world in 80 days but we did it in 25! We have come home to a beautiful clean house and a very chilled out cat. I have never left him with strangers before and was nervous about doing so as he is very anxious by nature. It was such a relief to see him in the pictures the girls sent me, always relaxed and calm. I got regular updates every couple of days which really helped me to enjoy my ... A million Thank yous, Carol and Shirl for looking after our three fur-babies. Because we had all met earlier, Archie and Ollie excitedly greeted Carol and Shirl as they arrived for the four days' house sit. Carol and Shirl treated the dogs as their own fur-babies - cuddles, protection from that scary thunder, walkies around the block each day (sometimes twice) and lots of love and pats. Carol and Shirley were an absolute delight and our puppies took to them right away. We felt comfortable leaving them and they were very well looked after
Thank you sincerely to Carol and Shirl. They were terrific at caring for our two puppies and our home. They left our home very clean and tidy and our puppies were very well cared for. They also watered our garden and pots as well as keeping us up to date on everything while we were away. We would highly recommend both Carol and Shirl to anyone looking for someone to care for their home and/or pets.

Thank you Carol and Shirl , I am more than thrilled with the care my fur babies received while I was away , They must have been good because the poodle allowed them to to be friends with her. My house was left clean and tidy as I had left it , Would recommend them to anyone for future house sits . Would definitely have them again if they were available
