Hi Everyone,
I am a friendly, very down to earth and responsible person. I have an intrinsic love of animals. (My last pet was a sweet border collie, but I have also had Chinchilla cats, canaries and parrots.)
I have owned houses in France and Australia, and completely understand the need for reliability and responsibility for house sits.
Aside from enjoying looking after pets, I like walking, fishing and writing.
I value honesty, integrity and care and expect the same in return.

"Shane and his friend house sat for us in August 18 in our house in Peregian Springs, and looked after our dog Tomkins who absolutely loved Shane! I think Tomkins was upset that Shane was leaving...
It was great to have Shane and Wilhelmina house sitting, they looked after the house very well, the house was clean and everything was in order. On the last day Shane even cooked a wonderful meal for my partner so he had dinner ready when he arrived home from the airport.
We would definitely recommend Shane to anyone and are hoping he might be able to return to our house again to house sit more."

"We had Shane come into our home for the past 5 weeks at relatively short notice! He provided us with a Police Check and References. We were absolutely thrilled to have him, he took such good care of our very needy Staffy and made sure to keep
us updated throughout our trip. Not only did he walk our dog twice a day we also had several neighbours comment on how often they saw him out and about with Van and how friendly he was!
The home was left in a great condition, was clean and presentable :) We would be happy to give Shane a recommendation anytime and will be looking forward to having him back the next time we need a house/pet sitter!

We felt very comfortable leaving our home and cats in Shane's care. He updated us with photos and videos. The cats were very well looked after and seemed quite at home with him ( even if they did con extra treats out of him ! ) All in all our first experience with Aussie Housesitters was a positive one and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shane.
Shane was great, reliable, great communication and looked after my cat and garden very well. Very happy to recommend.

We were lucky enough to have Shane stay at our house while we were overseas. The timing of our schedules meant that we were unable to meet in person, but we had many extensive conversations prior to the sit and Shane happily accommodated our requests and adjusted to the demands of the property. Our chickens were very well cared for and the house and garden well tended despite the failure of one or two pieces of equipment. Thank you Shane for caring for our precious cat so well. We returned to a content well groomed princess which was our main concern.
Shane was brilliant. He looked after my cat, plants and home very well and I came home to a very relaxed and happy cat and a tidy house. He is a good communicator and easy to deal with and also a really lovely person. Highly recommend Shane as a house/pet sitter. Thanks Shane!
