We are a retired, fit husband and wife team who have been
house-sitting in Australia and overseas since 2010.
We are now back in Australia and available to take great care of your home and pets while you enjoy a care free break. Love something a bit out of the ordinary.
We own property near Crescent Head on the mid north coast of NSW and this is where we are based. We live on stand alone solar and water tanks.

We own property near Crescent Head on the mid north coast of NSW and this is where we are based. We live on stand alone solar and water tanks.
We are fit, reliable and responsible. We both love animals (large and small),and have owned dogs, cats, donkeys and poultry.Keith is a skilled handyman and can cope with any emergencies and also perform maintenance work if required. Used to pumps etc and rural properties. We love sits that are a bit out of the ordinary and have experience in large rural properties.

We have police checks and lots of references. Here a a few from another site we are members of.

We have cared for a lot of old and sick pets and due to past experiences we now charge $10 a day for pets which need major medications. Although we are more than happy to do this and cope well, there is always a risk of injury.

Keith and Mog house sat for us for the whole of January and February this year (2015). They were thoroughly reliable, great with the animals, and when we arrived back the house was absolutely spotless. Keith and Mog came to look after our Basset Hound Lola and our 3 cats, hens and rabbit. They were so easy to deal with from beginning to end and it made our first foray into HouseSitters a very reassuring experience. We would recommend them to anyone. Fantastic couple with plenty of experience in house/pet sitting. My reserved with the strangers cat was lying on Mog's laps after a few hours and aloof dog was spoiled with strokes already the same evening they arrived. House and pets fully looked after. Keith and Mog are lovely, easy going, caring people. They were to look after my elderly dog who unfortunately met with an accident before they arrived. They were prepared to collect her from the vet, care for her if needs be. My dog unfortunately did not make it, but they stayed in my house anyway. They have been doing this for a while, so quite used to finding their way around and making themselves at home. In saying that, when I returned I almost did not know that 2 people had been staying here. The place was clean, everything washed, etc. I would certainly recommend them as house sitters, and would certainly use them again.

Keith and Mog we highly recommend as house/pet sitters. They are a lovely friendly outgoing Australian couple. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our three dogs were very well looked after ( the dogs are very demanding!) and the house was left in perfect condition.
We were welcomed home with a delightful meal prepared by Mog.

Keith and Mog did a really wonderful job of looking after our three cats - one very old and ailing and two brand new kittens who had not yet bonded with each other. For three and a half weeks, Mog and Keith administered the daily medications, lots of care, attention and play. When we returned, we found the old cat was in perfect health and the two were kittens palying beautifully. I really valued the way Mog and Keith would send short updates and we didn't have to worry about anything at all. The house was well looked after and I think they also enjoyed the area.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in asking them back again.

Mog and Keith were a godsend for us! We went overseas for six weeks and I was very worried about leaving our 2 adorable dogs and 2 gorgeous cats, all with special needs, with strangers. Keith and Margret were great! They made it super easy to arrange and handover. Old Thor the cat was give lots of treats to help take his medicine and I came back to a completely relaxed kitty who was completely chill. So chill I'm questioning his loyalty in fact... Anyway, the house was immaculate too. Can't recommend more highly.

Keith and Mog were great and we were so grateful to have them looking after our dog while we were overseas. He was well looked after and very content when we got home. The communication was great, and they were really accommodating. The place was tidy when we got back. Thanks again!
Margaret and Keith provided top class care , friendship and support to our 2 dogs, particularly important given the stormy weather. We arrived back to a very clean and tidy house . They kept us updated and had established good communication prior to our holiday. It was clear that they are very experienced and very capable house and dog sitters and we would welcome the opportunity to have them back again.
Mog and Keith looked after our home whilst we went away for nearly 5 weeks. We came home to a lovely clean, tidy house. Pets were well looked after and happy and healthy. Margaret and Keith were Caretakers for our Fraser Island properties. Our houses are off grid and quite isolated, so there was plenty to keep them busy for the 3 months they were with us. Keith did an excellent job keeping our generators and solar systems in good order, maintained our irrigation system, gardens and cared for essential equipment. Margaret was in charge of general housekeeping and helping the guests as required. We are very grateful for all they did for us, and would recommend ... Mog was great! We met a few weeks before the housesit, they dropped in to meet us and the pets which was really nice. She was always prompt when answering messages and questions. We got regular updates and we came home to a lovely clean house. I would recommend Mog & Keith and would love yo have them back anytime.
Margaret and Keith basically saved our holiday contacting us 24 hrs before us having to leave home. The housesit started with some difficulties but due to their confidence and experience they worked through it all with no drama and did a wonderful job keeping our puppies happy and chooks and Guinea were well looked after too. If you want perfect sitters who will love your pets, plants and house as if they were their own then Margaret & Keith are it! They left our house spotless and even helped us with a number of things. They are a friendly, knowledgeable, generous & easy-going couple which allows you to really relax when away knowing everything is safe & sound. Margaret and Kieth were lovely. Our first sit got cut due to covid however we rearranged for November this year. Their communication was excellent throughout including whilst on the sit. I received updates on our precious kittie. Everything was left super clean and tidy. Our kittie Smokey was very happy and well looked after when we got home. I just feel so bad the weather was not the best for them. Would highly recommend.

Margaret and Keith recently looked after our property and two spoiled pooches and one cat. Their communication was great and it was great to be able to get away for a week with no worries about what was happening at home. The animals seemed to like their company and our pots and gardens were carefully watered. I would highly recommend Margaret and Keith.

This was my first time engaging with house sitters and Marg & Keith were a great introduction for me, being the ideal sitters. Their care of my dog and 2 kittens was exemplary. Would definitely recommend them and would definitely engage with them again.

Margaret and Keith are obviously experienced sitters. We felt we could easily trust them to sit on first meeting them. They did everything we asked and the pool was sparkling on the day we returned even though they had a major storm the night before. Can recommend Margaret and Keith for a sit, but they may be hard to get as their schedule fills up quickly.
Mog and Keith did a great job house sitting for us! Our two spoilt doggies seemed very content and well looked after. Our home was beautifully tidy and clean when we got back. We would highly recommend Mog and Keith. They are very welcome back!

They kept our house safe, tended mouse traps, fed and watered our visiting wild birds, kept the house and surrounds tidy and watered the garden. It was appreciated that Keith after rain pumped water from one tank to another. His building knowledge was valuable on beginning restoration of pine fence work and offering ... Mog and Keith house- sat for us for nearly 6 weeks while we went to Europe. They did a great job looking after house, animals and garden. The veggie garden was well cared for and they kept my peas and other veggies alive for me!!They were very accommodating of our son who was back from overseas and kept "popping" in to pick up clothes etc. I can appreciate this may have been a little inconvenient so thank you! We can thoroughly recommend Margaret (and her husband Keith). We put in advert on "Aussie housesitters" website and they were the 1st to contact us. They were excellent: laid-back, competent, handy and they loved looking after Holly. They were meticulous with details regarding Holly's needs. They managed really well in spite of near-cyclone weather conditions that they had to contend with, and went out of their way with household tasks including moving a pile of wood for us. Lovely couple!
