We need a house sitter

South Coast - Southern Highlands

Katarina

We are going to travel in July and are looking for a house and pet sitter for that time.

Our house is located in the Southern Highlands suburb of Renwick, less than 10min from the motorway and about 1 hour drive into Sydney one direction and 10 min into Bowral. The location of our house is on a quiet street on top of a hill and has lovely views (particularly sunrises). Our house is a high energy efficient 4 bedroom house. It is airtight, double glazed and has a heat recovery system and a small reverse cycle air con system plus solar panels. The heat recovery system ensures warmth in all rooms equally. We have an induction stove and pyrolytic oven and a very well equipped kitchen. We also have subscriptions to Netflix, Disney +, Britbox and Prime. Our internet is fibre to premise NBN.

We have a lovely almost 5 year old Matese Shitzu boy who is a kind and cuddly fellow and fierce when guarding the house from anyone who walks by. Charlie has a poultry allergy and needs single protein fresh food which we will provide. He does not eat kibble. The fresh food is augmented with brown rice and / or grated carrot. We usually feed him twice a day. He loves playing with tennis balls and enjoys his walks in the neighbourhood with a lot of sniffing breaks.

Charlie's best mate is our bunny Andy. Andy is a rescue bunny. He is quite old now, half blind and almost deaf, but he loves sitting in the garden (from which he cannot escape) in nice weather. During the night he now has a house inside our house, which needs to be cleaned every third day (more often in bad weather when he can't get out); He is not the cuddly type but placid and easy to pick up. Andy loves all sorts of vegetables and my garden herbs he is keen to nibble on when outside. Andy doesn't mind the cold, but he should be in the house when it rains. He gets fed in the evening with a mixture of dry food and fresh vegetables.

We have a couple of pot plants in the front and the back which will need watering as they are under cover and don't catch enough rain.
