Hi - my wife Robyn and I are away between 15 June 2024 and returning on 30 June 2024.

We have a lovely, large 4 bedroomed house on well kept established gardens on 3/4 acre at One Tree Hill township in the Adelaide Hills approx. 33 kms from Adelaide.

We have used house sitters about a dozen + times previously and it was a terrific experience for the sitters and us too!!

All that is required is to look after the goldfish in a small outdoor pond - feed them once a day and 5 chickens which require minimal attention as they have a self feeder / water / and automatic opening and closing door to their chicken coop at dawn and dusk - to save them from foxes.

We do have large gardens and lawn and during the summer months it requires a considerable amount of watering - majority of watering is by sprinklers and tap timers as well as some hand watering of indoor and outdoor potted plants.

We do have a 11 year old, gentle, good natured, adorable female, long coat German Shepherd dog 'Charlea' as well - so this unfortunately precludes any sitters with their own dogs / cats from applying.

Thank you Danny, Robyn & Charlea for having me back for my fourth sit at your beautiful home. Everything is just as I remember and was a complete pleasure to care for. Charlea is so well behaved and affectionate, the chooks are friendly and lovely to interact with and the fish pond is peaceful and easy to care for. Danny and Robyn were fantastic to house sit for. Their beautiful home was sparkling clean when we arrived, they left clear instructions, and they were extremely kind and hospitable through out the house sit. They cooked us a wonderful dinner with great local wines on our first night at the house, and invited us to stay for an extra night at the end of the house sit so we could have a relaxed dinner with them again.
